Christi- did you not have to use the breast pads for long? I had a huge errrr let's call it a 'tap' issue, they didn't turn off easily. I only BF C for 9w and I used 2.5 large boxes of pigeon breast pads. I don't think even after 6m I would've been able to surrender the pads. I just had a gross memory, my step mom used to use sanitary towels as breast pads. I suppose they must've been expensive 16 years ago because that seems a bit silly to me!

How is Iris doing by the daymother now?

Hi Julz- always a buzy bee you!

Vix my sil knew it was a girl...so I was a bit shocked she was still saying that after her kid was born!

I also had a 'milk on tap' problem! Flip I used to sleep with towels wrapped around my boobs and they'd be soaked the morning. pads would be soaked...so changed at least 1ce or 2ce a day I think. Funny I had a lot of milk but it dried up easily after the 10th week of expressing!

Yay so Spain won! I was not into this stuff but after I tossed that coin I was in it to win it!!! Lol. Gerard immediately went (when coin revealed spain)...oh I hate u, because if u choose a winner then they win!ha ha.

I'm feeling fluish and have freakin fever blister!

Hi Julz!

Ally re:themes for blog..what about budget cooking? Where ingredients for one night are useful for another dish in same week? Or meals under 15min (or whatever time frame). Pizzas? I saw a lovely deep pan pizza pie on a blog today!!!!!! Oh my word! I can't wait to try it!!!

Or quick desserts?

Lisha- sorry but I had to have a good chuckle at Shrey's 'yucky nu noos' LOL I'm sure it's a very difficult thing for you to do but it has to happen at some point I suppose and it will be just as hard in a years time so why not do it now and gain yourself a little more independance. Good luck hun! I'm rooting for you and your Yucky nu nies's!

Simone- I've got most of my meals worked out to a price per head LOL I usually try and bulk out the food to last 4 portions so we can have for 2 days. I don't buy bacon, cream, mushrooms, butter or any 'luxuary' foods unless it is on special. I bulk buy on specials and we tend to eat a lot more mince these days. Like I said to Angie last week, Times are tough now but if in the future things ever go bad again at least we'll know then how to adjust easily into budget life, we'll all come out the other side of this recession having learnt something!

Mandy- loving the ice cream for dinner! What a sunday treat!

Leigh- If I have 2 boys in my tummy I will be sad but by the time they arrive I'll be excited. DH says I'll probably want another try for a girl but in my mind, once you've got 3 boys your chances for a girl are slim. No more kids for me after the twins I promise you! But yes DH was happy for a son to carry his name, actually personally don't understand the desperate need for it but men will be boys!

Simone- I cried at 16w when we found out C was a boy but by the time he was born I was excited to. Have a son. That's why I need to know the sexes, I couldn't bear the thought of being dissapointed at the birth.

O.k I need to go to sleep, have a really bad sinus headache.

Lisha, good luck with the weaning! I've decided to carry on a bit longer with the BF.
