Morning Mommies. Had a lovely weekend. It was very hot here both sat and sun so we brought out K's splash pool and he spend the majority of the day swimming, running around in his cozzie with the hosepipe wetting everybody and everything. He really had a ball, he was so exhausted sat that he slept from 18:15 until 06:45 sunday morning

Sunday we went shopping, didnt find any shoes, but found really cute invitations, so spent my night last night addressing them to the people.

Zee glad you got the oppotunity to spoil yourself, and dont feel quilty, a mommy also needs a treat now and again ;)

Julz you had a hectic weekend!

Simone so cute addy sitting at table like a grown up :)

Hi everyone

Hope you are all doing well. Going well at home, Z is very cute and funny and talk about melodramatic. She is such a little actress! I just enjoy watching her!

I had a good shopping weekend. My mom gave me cash for my birthday with the condition that I spend it on myself and not on the house or Z (very tall order!) so I bought new sunglasses, CD, and clothes and a new doll for Z that drinks and wees :) Was soooo nice! I always feel guilty about something so off course I'm thinking that I should've bought nappies in stead!

Mandy, that place is nice, it is very very close to my work. I'm also in Jan Smuts.

Helen, don't try to do too much at first, I'm sure it will all come together nicely in no time at all.

Hope you are feeling better, Vix!

Juls, that's bad about the tummy bug, hope its gone by now.

Christi, it would be nice if we could drive together again. Thanks.

Okay, that is all I can remember for now. Chat to you soon!

Hi ladies

Thought I would have to spend hours catching up but it seems you all had a very busy weekend.

We were crazy busy. Went shopping on Friday night and bought Dylan his first Lego. He loves it. Then we bought tons of nappies from Dischem. Man I love that shop.

Saturday morning I spent 3 hours at home affaris arranging travel documents. I had a tummy bug so got to front of queue and had to run to the toilet and go back to the back of the queue. Never go to home affairs with a bad tummy. No lights in bathroom so used my cell only to see the cockraches and no toilet paper other than the paper the lady at the door charges you R1 for. Anyway that's sorted for now.

Got home and we decided to do the fan walk so caught a train (first time in SA in 17 years!!!) and did the walk. We couldn't complete it as we had to get back for a dinner with a friend so managed to catch a train back just in time. It was amazing thought and glad we got a piece of the action. We had dylan in the hiking carrier and he loved it.

Today we went to visit that venue for my sister which is lovely.

Lelani I am positive we drove past your new home. Can you see it from the main road to Fraschoek??

Then we went to a braai so rediculously busy and I need to go to bed.

Loads of pics on facebook.

Night all and chat tomorrow.

PS We are having a tought time with Dylan at night. Hope tonight is better.

Mom of Dylan and Partner to Joerg. We live in the Beautiful Pringle Bay which is along the Whale coast, Cape.

Good evening ladies!

Wow you've been quiet all weekend, been trying to catch up here and there when I can, Oliver and the house and DH have been keeping me very busy!

Hope you've all had a good weekend, we've been busy trying to achieve as much as possible around the house, it all seems so slow going but I know I just need to be patient. I think its partly the frustration because I have to wait for Theo to achieve things before I can get on with stuff and its all stuff I can't really help with. I don't know who's crazy idea it was to get pregnant now but I think they must've been mad lol ;) I don't mean that in any negative way as I'm very excited about the bump in my tummy but its just such a stupid time to be pregnant as I'm so limite with the help I can offer Theo.

Mandy that party sounds awesome, I bet kids of all ages would have a blast ;)

Simone - lol at Addy sitting at the table, she obviously likes to think she's a grown up hehehe.

Ally - Hope its nothing serious with Abi and I hope you get an appointment sooner rather than later so that you can put your mind at rest. Google can be an evil evil thing, when the paed said Oliver might have...I can't even rememeber now what it was called but that thing where he said one side of the body is growing faster than the other I read all about it on google and it gave me such a fright, he then went on to be absolutely fine so all that worrying was for nothing, I wish the same for you with Abi, even if it is what the paed thinks it might be then hopefully the treatment will sort it out ;)

Nicole - Did you find any shoes?! And how messy did K get with the painting? Hope you took some pics!

Julz - A somewhat belated congratulations, well done you ;) Please do share?!

Lelani - Hope you got lots more unpacking done this weekend :)

Nelria - Congrats on the weight loss :) Is little Xen all better now? And how is Lea handling being a big sister?

How terrible am I?! That's all I can remember!! I think the porridge brain has definitely taken its hold  Hello to everyone else :)

This pregnancy is so different to Oliver, I'm pretty big now but I can still fit into my jeans, I wasn't this big with Oliver when I had to start wearing maternity pants so I'm carrying much higher this time, weird. Suffering with terrible nasal congestion still, had nothing of the sort with Oliver. My skin is at least starting to improve but I'm still breaking out but not as bad as it was in the first few weeks, I didn't even get one pimple through my whole pregnancy with Oliver. I wonder how else its going to be different. The movement is getting much stronger, an feel it from the outside now :) Needless to say baba doesn't want to participate everytime Theo is around ;) So far its more of a roller than a kicker, it even woke me up rolling over last night.

Anyways, a mahoosive pile of ironing awaits so I'd best be off :)

Mandy- sure I can pick a whole box up if you want but don't you just want to take a couple of tea bags just to see if it works for your friend first? I'm only going to make a copy of the multiples DVD so you can just share it around the girls until everyone who wants to has seen it but sure we can make another playdate for August.

Enjoy the fan park, not my kind of scene with a baby but then I'm a preggy bore at the moment LOL.

That party sounds cool but it must have been soooo expensive!

I went for coffee with a couple of benoni mums this morning that was really nice.

Poor vix, naughty TWEELINGS!

Just went to such a fun kiddies party - Ally and Pfairy you would go WILD for it - and most other moms too! Its called Smudge art in craighall and it was a 2yr olds party. Its all indoors and it has like 6 rooms - and they serve tea and cuppacinos etc and cake - the decor is beautiful old couches and all the tea and coffee is out of vintage type cups and saucers and there were tiered cupcake stands with bright beautiful cupcakes and all of the tables had different goodies on them like a carrot cake or crunchies or homemade miscuits or mirangues, then they had low round kiddies tables with blocks and playdough and lots of shelves with books etc - the other rooms were dress up rooms with loads of outfits and mirrors and the kids all went wild dressing up , and a music room with zylophones and drums and whistles and houses to play in in another room , then the rooms were divided with huge blackboards with sayings about children playing and staying away from tvs!

Then the art room was supervised, each child got to take home an apron, and then the ladies gave the kids their party pack with something in it to paint, girls got a little brown jewellry box and cam got a frame in the shape of a car, then they were given paint first, and then little shapes and glue to stick the glitter shapes onto the little frame!! They hired the whole place out and the kids just ran from room to room going wild.. while all the gals put on princes dresses and growns and picked up wands, cam picked up a plastic sword and ran around trying to hurt everyone!! VERY VERY coooollll

You can go there for kids to play but i saw the prices and its very expensive - its R110 for kids to come in and play - but i dont know if that includes anything!! I joined their mailing list so that I can find out more anyway - VERY CLEVER concept! Pfairy - you should do some research and see if you can start one of these places in Krugersdorp! it would be awesome! and you would have so many nice ideas!

okay - cam is asleep and then we are off to the fan park for the soccer! sho tooooo busy
have a good day all!

ps Vix, sorry - it would be GREAT if you could bring a box of the tea and print the instructions and I could pay you for the box of tea and thanks so much for letting me watch the multiples dvd - and also a good excuse to bring it back to you another week end for a playdate with cam and c on another week end if we can find another free week end a little later :) Thanks thanks
