Wow just while I typed that little message all this other chatting happened!

Vix yes sorry I meant to say the meet sounds great and I shall be there :) Something to look forward to. I wondr if I'll still be in my jeans in two weeks time. This little roller woke me up again last night doing summersaults ;) Can't wait to see your belly either :)

Mandy I try to make Oliver walk and most of the time he's happy to, only when he's tired does he fuss to be picked up usually. He loves running around when DH is around, much easier for me then having 2 pairs of hands and eyes, one can be shopping and the other watching and playing. As for getting him into his carseat, I still have to pick him up, he'll step up to the first step but he can't manage to climb the rest of the way yet. This might sound totally stupid and really obvious but have you tried saying things to him like "Can Cam get in the car by himself?" and then if he does try give him a big fuss and tell him what a clever boy he is. Sometimes they just don't seem to realise that they are capable of doing something until they are told...

Simone - Not a nice situation to be in, I think your ILs could be just a little more understanding!

My parents still also put my name in things, not Christmas cards but most extended family birthday cards and new baby or christening or funeral stuff they usually add me, I think its cos I live so far away ots impossible for me to keep up with everything.

I'd best get my little monster some lunch ;)

Mandy i dont know what is wrong with these kids! Wanted to be up and walking...now that they can walk...not a damn can i get Addison to walk in a mall! UPPIE UPPIE MAMA!! Luckily we rarely go to the mall due to lack of funds...lol (one plus side about being broke)....but usually Gerard has to carry her.

re: car seat...she climbs into the car...but she would not be able to climb in to get to her car seat..its behind the passenger seat so its a bit snug...but she climbs in infront to honk the hooter and play with the cd's etc.

Angie men have so much pride...my Dh again works his butt off for extra money...but dept takes so long to pay him..we are always in such crap by the time it comes that it barely helps. He certainly cannot work anymore than he does now....so if i break down...he feels like...why didnt he study finished...have a high profile job...where can he work in his free time (which is when he sleeps!).and ends up blaming himself as well.

BUT you should talk to him..you guys are going through this together. I used to think cause Gerard never speaks about it...he doesnt give a crap about our financial mess...so it built up in me to a point where i got so angry with him for 'ignoring' the situation...then i realised he was also terribly stressed and we felt alot better after we spoke.

Julz...it was my MIL....that is exactly what i thought...they could have offered to just make it a group gift...or sacrifice some of their gifts in our name...and when i buy gifts it could just be a group gift again. But that's my in laws for you! Not one of them..2 Sil's and my mil said...Simone even if you dont have a gift, come...because you are planning to buy at another stage. But nope...not one of them even said that. I am glad i didnt go...and i think i am making a move towards servering ties with them...

Shame man Simone. It's really difficult being invited to these things and having to afford gifts. Your mom could have just put your names on the gift too.

One thing about my mom. If she sends flowers she always puts all of our names in the tag.

Yoza glad your dad is getting good medical treatment. x

Vix I am waiting for my contract before I resign. I am not looking forward to it either.

Mandy we still pick Dylan up at times when he is niggly or tired, but mostly he walks or runs. I carry him to the car only to save time or he would run away. He doesn't stop, but loves his carrier luckily. I found when he had his last pair of shoes he didn't walk as much so maybe they hurt him.

Ladies - thank you so much for your support! I don't know what I would have done today without all your encouraging words!
Vix - no DH has a job, but with a very small basic salary and some months he does not get any commission!
Simone - don't feel alone, I also had to ask my dad for help some months, I am in my 30's and still asking for financial help - such a loser!

My problem is, that I feel I cannot cry or vent towards DH, as he feels all of this is his fault, and like he is a failure etc... I don't want to make things even worse for him, and so I need to keep everything in... I feel so extremely tired and drained and feel like I could just run away... I just cannot pick myself up today, I don't know how I am going to bottle this up, before I get home today, to spare DH. It feels as the day is going on, my crying and breaking down is getting worse!

Angie - You are allowed to feel like that and agree with Mandy, cry it all out, itusually helps ;) ou sound like you've done a marvelous job managng so far and it will all come right eventually. DH is a terrible one for comparing to others and its something you really ought to try not to do and just remeber you don't know what goes on behind closed doors so things are not always as they seem with other people ;)

Mandy LOL at Cam being 9.7 at 4.5 months, Oliver was probaby much the same at that age hehehe, I was looking at some of his baby pics the other day and wow has he changed and slimmed out, although he's still a big boy, haven't had him weighed for while but I think he must be around 16kg. He's actually getting too heavy for me to manage now and typically he's now decided that he wants to be carried everywhere, nt by Daddy, or to sit in the trolley, nope, mummy has to carry him. As for the cat story, lol, there was a development, we got woken up to cats fighting in the lounge on Thursday night so Theo went running, managed to corner the nasty cat and gave it a nice big fright, we haven't seen it since so hopefully its done the trick ;) Oh and I meant to say earlier the doc sounds good, Intercare is that one opposite the mall isn't it? Please can you email me the details ready for when Oliver next needs a tip? helentossell@hotmail.com Thanks ;)

Ally - Am so jealous about your trip, it'll be so nice for you to just relax. Hope the twins give you a better night tonight!

Nelria - Hope the troop get better soon, glad Xen hasn't given you any rough nights yet - Long may it continue!!

Yoza - The president sounds like he's going to be a hanful when the walking really gets going, he'll be playing kiss chase with all the girls :)

I meant to say the other day WRT to how many kids, I think if this one is a girl then we'll probably close up shop but never say never ;) The only reason I'd stop at two is because of finances buuuut where there is a will there is a way hehehe so we shall see, I'm certainly not ready to be sterilised or anything after this one, but if we do have another I think we'd wait maybe 3 years or so. If this one is another boy then I think the chances of us trying again for girl are fairly high ;) I'll probably end up with a housefull of boys, my mum had 3 boys before she had me ;)
