Helen- wow that is a bad week! 1stly, I'm very sorry to hear about your SIL, it's a cruel world! I hope Theo cries soon, he'll feel huge relief when he does. But You're right, it probably hasn't sunk in yet. WRT the Cat, how does he come in? Via a cat flap? Maybe you should consider one of those with the magnetic collar, that way only your cats can get in. I can't believe the car is taking so long to fix, 2 min to damage, 2 months to fix, crazyness!

Ally- what did your dad say about the chocolate course? Well done on your weightloss! I noticed at Nelria's shower how much you've lost, you can see a huge difference! I'm sure your body's metabolism has kick started with all the herbalife you've been doing so the odd naughty birthday week shouldn't do any harm!

I have gone down a whole belt loop LOL even though a have a protruding belly over the top. It's crazy, I'm 12w pregnant and 1 belt loop less than pre pregnancy LOL loving it for now though, I'm sure I'll only loose another kg before it starts to gain again but if I can stay the same as I was with C at full term (71) I'll be happy.

O.k I have lots of work to get on with.

Vix: Its a different experience form birth to taking care of baba. My pead says Mrs Landu you got two extremes. one small baba and one big one. One came early and the other was fashionably late just like a reall lady.

The thing is vix she grows so quickly from her clothes i bought a size 4 nappy and piwe accidentaly opened them and they fit perfeclty now im worried taht the bulk of size 3 willgo to waste.

no more bulk buying for me.

Naartjie has a promo going on. tops and pants R69.

Im stocking up for next year thats what i did for siba. bought all sale stuff for this years winter.

Shame Helen I will be thinking about you. She is still very young :(

Vix lucky you for not having a MIL.

Ally I also tell people mostly to go fly a kite, but because of dh I keep quiet with MIL. Sometimes I just do other things when they are there, I know very rude, but I don't want to see them almost every second weekend.

Lisha- I don't use wipes when C just has a wee. Did you see my microwave tip for the wipes when he poops? That works really well and is quicker than using hot water and cotton wool.

Yoza- it must be nice to have a big strong healthy full term baby, I'm sure it's completely different to having Siba so prem!

I don't have a MIL.

Elwyn got an sms yesterday from a debt collector, Planet fitness has instructed them to get Elwyn to pay R345 or else. He went to check it out, it's a levy from 2006/07 can you believe it, they've never sent us a single bill or demand, final notice nothing. These people...... So our attorney has said it's illegal to collect monies more than 3 years after the fact so they can go jump LOL it's not much but still, who asks for money 3/4 years after the fact? He paid the membership in full at the start but they say it's a yearly levy, these Gym contracts are bad news.

Oh, I think I was more amazed that a company would use an sms to contact you on? What's wrong with an old fashioned telephone call? Technology hey!

Morning ladies,

Its not been a good week for us :( There is un-neutered cat coming into my house whilst we're at work, its bullying my cats but worse than all of that its spraying everywhere all over my curtains and furniture GRRRRRR!! And we just got rid of the nasty cat pee smell. Bought some cat stay away stuff today so hopefully that will help.

The damn thing has also (don't ask me how) pierced a hole in the tube that empty's the water out of the dishwasher so I'm without a dishwasher until Theo can fix it.

The car is STILL being repaired, now they have to wait for another part. Theo kicked up such a fuss yesterday that we finally have a hire car but its still a real pain in the butt. If the car had actually been stolen we would have been able to organise a replacement quicker than its taken them for the minor repairs.

Then the worst news of all, my SIL, (Theo's sister) has been told her breast cancer has come back (she's had it twice in the last 7 years or so) but now its spread to her bone marrow and is already quite advanced. The specialists are having a meeting today but its so aggressive (she was given the all clear a mere 4 weeks ago and since then she has developed a tumour on her other breast, its spread to her arm and is in her bone marrow and is heading towards her spine) they don't think there is much hope for any kind of treatment but we'll know later today. They are immediately signing her off work and have told her to get her papers in order :( :( :( Even with treatment they think they can only hope to extend her life by maybe a year or so but its sounding like it's going to be better to forego treatment as it will be painful and may be unsuccessful anyway then she's looking at anything from 3-6months. Its so unfair, she's only 40, its so young! :( :( My eyes are so sore and puffy today from all my crying, I feel so bad, Theo hasn't even shed a single tear and I can barely keep myself together. He's going to fly to Cape Town for the weekend to be with his family, I think the tears will probably come for him then because I don't think its really sunk in for him yet.

Sorry to bring the mood down but I just feel so sad about it, its so unjust the way nature works sometimes.

Hehe funny re: all the secret talk. I don't really care if people see lol. But then again, I tell most of them off in person!

We had a good night but I don't want to elaborate coz I always jinx myself. I'll just say, I slept well.

Vix, I'm going to probably leave around 9. The twins wake up anywhere between 7 and 08h30 now so I never know. But I won't leave earlier than 9. So I'll be there by 09h30-ish.

Shame I went to the shops quickly to get cocoa and coconut for the brownies and took Abi with me. She was so cute in the shops. Wanted to touch everything but luckily I avoided any accidents. When we walked past the sweets she kepts saying "seeets" so I got them a pack of those milk bottles. They love them!

My herbalife girl is going to be here soon but I think I messed up this week with it being my birthday. I didn't really use the products and I ate A LOT. But I'm not bothered, I'm already back on track again. IN the last month I've lost 48.5cm over my whole body. Hips 7cm, waist 5.5cm, legs 7cm each. YAY! I'm slowly getting there.
