Yay for the hair appointment! I'm going to try book for Evan's birthday.

I hear you, I have to tell DH daily what the plans are for the weeks coming up and he still forgets It does pee on my battery sometimes but I get it and I am the organiser in the family so it's fine.

That's a great idea. We did that for DH 1 year and he even did a poitji party in a park for everyone. It was great fun.

I hope the poitjie is ok on Sunday. I dont stick to the conventional recipe 100% but I've always had compliments. But these are descerning palates we have to cater for on Sunday

Yay for friday!

John had his measles and prevenar jabs this morning. He has not been a happy chappy this afternoon, I'm attempting to put him down in his cot but he is very Mama-vas. Just glad they're over and I managed to go without making an appointment!

Robyn, I know Panchos - my SIL took us there a few years ago when we visited her in CT - awesome frozen margaritas and loved the chilli poppers~! Have fun.

Yay I have just booked for my hair in 2 weeks time for my birthday - cut and highlights - CAN"T WAIT! Its been a year girls! Well a year since cut and 10 months since colour.

Looking forward to sunday! Ja I must have reminded DH about 10 times about Sunday and I bet he will still forget. Shame, he works so hard he doesn't remember things like plans. But he is amped for the potjie, he loves a good potjie, in fact I want to buy him a potjie pot for his birthday

So Robyn, is your nanny going to look after D until she goes to school or are you trying to book her into one now when you go back to work?

I need to start looking at playgroups and schools etc. I want to try wait to end of Feb when J is 18 months old but I don't know if I can hold out that long, its getting really hard to work around him and my mom can't take him more than 1 or 2 days a week cos she is also quite busy. So I might put him in at a year or 14 months or so. But I must get cracking and go pay a visit to all the ones in my area.

shame Robyn, you had such a loooong mat leave, you will be hating work next week and think shuu, i should stay at home and did this and that and ya... but your night out to dinner sounds awesome. have a drink for me too - LOL

cols all moved back to the same building i was before mat leave I really could have stayed where i was, now comes 200% more work and stress and walking up and down and back and forth to all these buildigs we have in two office parks, its so cold, does not help to in and out the office walking and then comin back to do admin work as well.... need to win the lotto

I did my hair last sat. OMW, i feel so happy and like a new person. i must not leave it now for another 3 mnths, yikes, and it was so so long. amazing what a trip to the salon does ..
