Sorry I've been a bit scarce, still trying to stay awake. I do read all the posts though

M2M, really hope Liam gets better soon. He really does look sad

Sher, 2nd toothie Hope she sleeps better now

Sonay, me and you are in the same boat - come toothie come, I NEED MY SLEEP

Willem seems to be cutting his third (and hopefully even fourth) tooth. Been niggling and drooling for a while now! Top gums are swollen, and he won't allow us to touch them! Also a bit off his food. Still loves his pap, fruit and yogurt, but don't dare bring veggies or meat close to him

So, Willem had his 9 month vacs on Saterday - was a different clinic sister, and didn't like her AT ALL!! She seriously irritated me!! Every time I tried to ask her something, I got answered with "I don't know", "I'm not sure", "rather go see your doctor". Guess she is just there to give the jabs

Apparently the Chicken pox vac is private (next one on my schedule). Did anybody do that one as optional?

I thought to take him back during next week to see the nice sister, and maybe get the chicken pox one done.

Anyway, the (useless) sister told me that Willem's weight is 'serioulsy worrying her'. He weighs 8.2kg, and he was sick the week before and off his food!! So will wait and see what the other sister says before I stress too much about it

Anyway, enough ranting now!!

Robyn - Congrats on the new fridge... and glad we are seeing more of you here! And did bootcamp help you shed those kilo's?

Girly - long time no see... shame sounds like things have been hectic for you! and you don't really want to take off so soon after starting a new job either! Glad to hear Kaylee is doing better now, and standing too! Such clever little monkeys arent they!

M2M - wow you are having such a rough time, you really didn't have to work on my bedding, i really wasn't in a hurry for it! Poor little baba looks so sad with all the tubes! Will keep him (& you) In our prayers! Ooooh the bedding is so very very adorable!!! Thank you!!!

Sher - Glad to hear the tooth is through, at least now you can get back to sleeping at night!

Cols - Ilove your table! Sorry about the Laptop... lets hope IT get it right!I think its worth it to paint in the meantime, but use a cheap paint maybe? A no-name brand?

BabyZee - Wow, it seems all the little ones are sick at the moment... it does really seem to go around in stages! Hope little Fayaz feels better soon!

Sonay - sounds like teeth... all i can suggest is our formula... ponstal at bedtime, reuteri drops for the poo nappies and then prodol if she wakes up in the night.


OMW! Its so very very very very cold!!!! -2 degrees on my hubbys car thermometer and by the feel of it i am inclined to believe its even colder!!!

So little K went to the Paed for her 9 month checkup yesterday and the paed is super happy with her! she is 8.56kg and oh i cant remember her height... but she is in the 50th percentile for weight (bang on the average mark) and on the 25th percentile for height! But she has always followed those two lines.

Anyway i better get back to work!!

Shame M2M, that is awful, I really hope Liam gets well soon and that you get some rest. easier said than done though

hi ladies,

Just a quick update. Liam is still in hospital (still isolation) and dr said earliest that he will go home is on friday. fxfxfx

his sats: still varies between 88-92 with his heart rate being between 104-150 (when he was admitted last saturday it was in the 170's)

liam is def looking better, he is starting to play, he still vomits when he take in any form of solids AND get this he keeps his milk down??????? i mean with ROTA he is keeping it down, but vomits when he has something else. and it is dirty nappies the freekin whole day....back to the days when he was still a 'new baby' - 8 dirty nappies a day!

i am dead tired at the moment AND hubby has to go to jo'bugh for meetings...leaving tomorr morn at 05:00. so aletta will be staying with liam in hospital for tomorrow and thursday and i will be at home with jadon. by poor boy, i miss my big man and i miss spending time with him! we only have bout 1h a day together, the rest of the time i'm at the hospital attending to my baba.

Hi Ladies

Shame, winter not even here and you're struggling with sick kiddos already. Hope your littlies are much better already. My LO also have a very runny nose today and is super clingy. After her bath tonight I rubbed her out and did the vicks on the soles of her feet advice, hope it works.

She is sleeping so terribly the past couple of nights. All I can think of is teeth, bottom gums fairly swollen. Wish they can just pop now.

Well half my data didnt retrieve. I have to leave my laptop at IT over night to run the recovery again

Here's the table. We only ordered 1 bench to see how it came out. I have ordered the 2nd one today. Now it's just to figure put what to decorate with until we redo the kitchen and do the wall paper. I wanted to paint but DH says it's a waste of money
