Seeing doc @ 2!

PM - Evan was exactly the same when he got the original ear infection. There was no redness, discharge or anything. His appetite just dwinddled and he cried everytime I tried to lie him down. At one point we actually slept sitting up just because he freaked out everytime we tilted him to lie down...

Rather be safe than sorry and go see your dr...

Evan also loves playing with his ears so when he was pulling on them I thought nothing of it...

Babyzee - I was actually wondering if you were...Were you guys thinking of having another (not so soon)? I hope it all works out for you hun!

Hi all,

As expected was ballet last night very very sad. Everyone is heartbroken, but they all decided to go out and dance for Carmen. She was very excited about them going to SA's. The funeral is on Friday, we'll still see if we going to let our girls go. Personally I don't feel it's a good idea.

Iz has been extremely niggly at night! Crying every 15 minutes. Touching her ears. She usually touches her ears when she's irritated. Her 2 bottom teeth are out, do you think it's still causing her fussyness, or there might be a deeper problem? She hasn't got any fever. I've been checking constantly. She's also lost her appetite, ok, she decided she'll only eat her fruit mommy cooks, no cereal, and no veg.

My mom got the go ahead from the physio to go along to Rustenburg. Now we only waiting for the specialist. She's seeing him tomorow. I'm still cooking for my mom's household every evening too, to ensure she stays off her feet! Poor people have no say in what they have for supper anymore! They must ma shut up and eat! Had our last meeting last night, and besides the terrible sadness, things are falling into place and are we getting excited. I'm terrified of those highways though!

Finally decided to have my hair chopped off this afternoon!

Sjo, its been ages since I logged on! So busy! Not even going to try to catch up!

How is everyone?? Any preggy fairy yet? Hahaha

Armand is doing great! Nearly 8months! Can not believe how time goes!

We went to the coast last week. Armand’s first sea holiday! He loves the sand and sea! We let him sit on the sand and just loves it. Of course all the sand is going to the mouth! Took a few nice photies. Will post as soon as I download it from my phone.

He also became sick for the first time. It started with a runny nose, then a cough and the he just started not feeling well. The one day he just cried the whole time. So we had to go the pharmacy (it was while we were at the coast). Praise God there was a sister on duty, so she checked his ears and throat ect. So then I phoned my pead and he gave meds over the phone. He is much better now!!!

Me and hubby also started having date nights Every month Armand sleeps either by the one granny or the other. So last night he slept by his granny and we went to watch a movie. The first time in a year since we went to the movies!! It is great and I’m so glad we decided to this. It is very important for one’s marriage!

Still only 6 teethies and the crawling is still like a little worm Sits nicely on his own and also goes from tummy to back and the other way around as well. He is not very keen on laying down any more! Solids is ok. Was on purity, but was not keen at all. So I tried freshly cooked veggies and he loves it. Still not eating a lot, but enough. Guess it will get better the bigger he gets.

Oh my word babyzee really! Has your period returned since baby was born? When is period due?
Well please keep us posted. Things dont always happen to our plans but I'm sure you'd be fine. Shoo so exciting

Cols glad to hear Evan is feeling better and feeding & sleeping better too!
We give K vidaylin which is what they gave to build her immune system when she was in hospital. And I used to buy pro biotics every month but she doesnt suffer with cramps or constipation so trying to save R110 / month on that.

Pinkmommy really sorry about the balerina The world can be a sad place sometimes. I hope your daughter is doing okay after the news.

Not much to report my side. Had a busy but enjoyable weekend which went by way too quickly! Visited with Yaz & Charne which was great. The girls are all too sweet and very busy esp the crawling ones We're not quite there yet but since yesterday K straightens her arms much more when on her tummy, and I can see shes trying to lift her bum so maybe a few more weeks.
Will have to hide things like shoes and cat food then

K's had a stuffy nose for a while now and the illiadin / saline / aspirator doesnt help. I put eucalyptis in our humidifier but my chest didnt agree with it so havent tried again.
Bought some sister lillian tissue salts today so will see if that helps.
I think she is still teething although I cant 'see' signs of any teeth but she's been very niggle the last while with no apparent reasons. Prodol works fantastically thankfully!
It's DH birthday on Thursday and he gets to take half day one day this week so he's chosen Friday. I like that!

Apparently some heavy rain forecast for Wednesday/Thursday in Cape Town this week!

KerryA did you chat to MIL? I wouldve flipped if she was causing unnecessary discomfort to my baby, there is no excuse for it! She gets up to strange things some times!

Cols, so sorry for what baba has to go through sad part is that this will continue for a long time, i went through the same thing i practically lived at the paed's office with my LG, they even convinced us she was asmatic and we used an inhaler everyday some days it was worse and we had to go to the hospital for a nebulizer, she really suffered for her first year until i got a nanny and hey presto my child has been 100% we threw away the inhaler as she dosent need it and ther immune is much stronger. hang in there but if you can make another plan for Evan then please do.

PinkMommy shame thats so sad about the ballerina hope you girl is not taking it too bad.

Thank you all for all the good wishes. I went to the Gynae on Thurday and as usual he is running late so i had to wait like an hour finally i see the doc and tell him i am in pain at the scar where i had the caesor he does a thorough check and finally an internal scan he says my ovaries look good and that i might be preggies what that is not funny coz i am on microval so he says if AF does not show i should go for blood test.

This is not funny as my boy is only seven months but we just have to wait and see.
