yeah i agree... besides even if it is just uncomfortable for her it isn't fair on her... if its totally avoidable what harm can it possibly do to avoid it? if you cant keep her off the grass don't put her on it in the first place...

get a washtub and put her in that with toys... fetch a camp cot... use the pram

good golly so many options...

Anyhow enough on that topic... i don't want to spend the weekend fretting over MIL's lack of initiative...

Kerry, I can understand that she's fast, but then hold on to her foot for pete's sake. Having your child held onto her leg while she's playing to keep her off the grass, trumps red itchy eyes. Sorry, I go with the lesser or the two evils. Or a huuuuge blanket, or 2 blankets. If she so badly wants to sit with her on the grass a plan can be made.

You know how sore that must be for poor K? I'm allergic to cats, and my eyes kill me if they get close, I can only imagine how a bubs must feel.

Well on that note K does move... quite fast actually... she kinda does the worm thing... and goes backwards too. but youre right the fact that MIL cant keep her on the blanket doesnt make her any less sensitive to the grass... lol

I cant believe though that it took me that long to figure out the grass was doing it to her though... but i guess i wasnt aware of quite how much time she was spending on it... all i knew was that when she had been at MIL her eyes were red in the evenings and she was niggly... when with my parents for a day here or there she wasnt...

Supply MIL with a queen size blanket....or ask her who's the adult and who's the 7 month old baby? Cause sure as hell, if she can't control a non-crawling baby to stay on a blanket there must be something wrong! Either she is fart assing around when she should be watching her or she is being deliberate!

Either way, cause for concern! As you must be a very vindictive, spiteful, sad person to knowingly hurt your grandchild if she's allergic to grass!

The prodol is awesome! I have put it in my own mouth (i had to test to see) and i went numb.

M2M - congrats with Liam... i only wish K was there... shes pulling up only on mommy, the bath and a coffee table, and shes never been extremely vocal... though last night she was stringing sheep... lol BA BA BA BA BA BA.... it was adorable!

Well as for me i FINALLY figured out why little k is always rubbing her eyes when we fetch her from MIL! I thought she was tired so id try let her sleep which sorta worked... turns out MIL put her on the grass in the afternoons and lets her play... hubby is on permanent meds forg grass allergies...

So we asker her not to put K on the grass... if she wants K to play on the grass she absolutely must put down a blankie first! So she proceeds to tell me yes by K just climbs off the blanket! I don't care, she is allergic to the grass... deal with it anyhow you like darn it! Just don't let me see her rubbing red little eyes again!

Hubby is working the weekend so i am gonna have to get up early

seems like lil dakota an liam is developing at the same rate. he is standing up against everything, the chairs, couche, beds, his cot, the safety door...my poor heart can't handle it!!!! so scared he topples over...

and he can say baba and trying to say mama and he LOVES singing...he is a very vocal child! ai my baba is getting big now.....but there is still only two toofies
