blessed, try no carbs... No bread, pasta, rice etc... I also cut out sugar. It definitely helps...

When Evan was about 2 - 3 months old I had reached my pre pregnancy weight. I think it was from stress and sleep deprivation. We moved house My scale then died and I havent weighed myself since then. I think i've lost more weight because all my clothes are too big on me now... Lets hope xxx

Charnenay, I took him to the Dr again last saturday and he'd gotten another viral infection. He seemed so much better so I stopped the cough mixture etc because I dont like that he was on meds for so long. His breathing was clear this afternoon when I picked him up and there's been no coughing so I will monitor him again...

Sho, some of you ladies really have LONG days! I contemplated going down stairs to study @ 5am but ended up sleeping in instead :P

Charnenay - No i go back to bed and get up at half 4 maybe 5... if she slept till 5 though i'd have to get up earlier! but then again we are alseep earlier too so i guess it evens out

Trouble is hubby and i work from 7... so while i get off at 3:30 and miss all the traffic it is an early start

JanineK - good to hear i am not alone
:-) Phew!

Hi Ladies,

Willem's schedule (more or less - he dictates)

+-4:00 - milk - breast fed
7:00 - milk - breast fed
8:30 - rice cereal
11:00 - milk - 200ml expressed breast milk
15:00 - milk - 200ml expressed breast milk
19:00 - milk - breast fed

Then sleeps till 4 am again (somedays - others its 3:00, and some even 5:00  )

Still busy with introducing the solids - should add another cereal feed in the afternoons soon, and then veggies mid-day.

Charnenay - I usually stay up after the 4am feed ;), and I only leave for work at 7:40...

Willem tends to think that 4am is a GREAT time to play , I just found that that last hour or less sleep makes me more tired that anything else - which ends up with me snozzing the alarm once to many come 6am .

Must say though - the mornings he drinks 3am - BACK TO BED!

Location: Johannesburg
Willem born: 20 Aug 2010
Emily born: 5 March 2014

Charnenay, believe me i tried that, she won't drink more milk in the day, she chose her routine and try as i may shes haning in with it... i tried giving her an extra feed at 9 and even though she took it she still like clockwork woke up at 3:30...

but its fine coz we have to leave at 5 to drop her off at MIL to get to work on time so its all good.

Girly, I don't think the teething stops until all the teeth are out :( Once it starts, it's here for the next few months. Emily struggles some days and then other days not at all. WE put the Amber necklace on last nights, so I will see how she does over the next few days. My mom has a tummy bug, so I sent her home and dh is babysitting Emily today because I needed to come to work!! Will leave early to go and rescue him though :)

Amazing how different everyone's feeding schedules are. Here is Emily's:

6:30AM - 150ml Formula
8:00AM - Cereal
09:30AM - 150ml Formula
12:30PM - 150ml Formula
13:00 - Rice Rusk and/or Fruit
15:30 - 150ml Formula
17:00 - Veggies
19:00 - 150ml Formula

She then sleeps through from 8PM to 6:30AM.

Cols, hope Evan gets better soon. I would take him back to the doctor if I were you or maybe even just contact your paed and let him know that he has finished the antibiotics and its been 2 weeks and he is still not better. Then rather hear what the pead says to do. P.S - those little nappy changing bag looks really cool - think I will get me 1. Thanks!!

Kerry - perhaps try and increase her milk feeds during the day and she might drop that night feed.???
