oh my it has been ages since I've been here :(

I see a lot of you are discussing giving LO biscuits... Is it time already? I saw that Evan had a marie biscuit at school yesterday... Was worried about it... I hear that Spar have their own brand of boudoir biscuits which are very nice?

Regarding walkers, mil gave me one of those standard onces like we had back in the day. Now I know I am going to sound so dumb, but, how do they work? the "seat" part is adjustable. Do I lower it so LO is "standing" on the ground? Sorry just dont know how it works

Evan is on mostly purity at the moment as I have just progressed to giving him protein so wasnt sure what to give, texture etc. He has home made veg at school which has more texture because they only mash it. I ordered the Annabel Karmel cook book for babies and toddlers. Apparently it's very good? So then I will be cooking Evan's meals again :) I prefer that as I hate the smell of the purity stage 2 :P

I have migrated from pampers to huggies gold because I heard they leak less... So far Evan has leaked in them twice. I have heard the new PnP range is really good so if I dont come right I will try them next...

Evan had the flu which ended up in a bacterial infection so he got antibiotics. He seemed to be getting better and then started coughing and puking from last Thurday so I was back at the dr on Saturday. He has a viral infection again. He still has a little cough but the congestion etc seems to have cleared up. At least he had no fever this time. The Dr gave me Coryx to dry up the mucus etc. I have been using Sterimar and iliadin and a nose frida to clean his nose. The frida is so much better than the bulb aspirator or sucking the nose directly with your mouth!

Evan is sitting so well now and even sits straight up. He also rolls both ways now and sometimes it looks like he's trying to do a handstand because he lies flat on his chest and rocks and lifts his legs right up. He also wriggles in all different directions and last night he even wriggled to the bottom of his cot!

I've had to go out and buy Evan a whole bunch of 6month+ clothes.

I cannot believe how quickly all our little ones are growing!!! It's too much! I am loving it though...

I promise to try respond better in future :) xxx

Jeez - you girls have been busy. I had like 8 posts to read!!

We had a bomb scare at Old Mutual yesterday so had to evacuate the building. And this happens at 4PM just as I am about to leave!!! I was not very impressed. Anyway, ended up leaving my car here and getting a lift home with my sister - was chaos on the roads. We are 9000 people in the building, so imagine all of us trying to leave at the same time.

Anyhow - back at work today, but thankfully leaving at 12 :), so I get to go and play with my EMily.

Our babies are all getting so big :)

Ladies who are having trouble with the biscuits - I give Emily "Hot -Kid Baby MUM MUM" Rice Rusks. I buy it at Checkers, not sure where else they are sold. They are really good, doesn't break off, just literally melts in their mouths. Emily loves them.

M2M - can't see your pics at work, will have to log on at home. Kerry, your pics are gorgeous, she is too pretty :)

Thanks for checking Emily out in the competition, yes Niki, she is in February Living and Loving.

I got my Amber Teething Necklace that we won in the competition, so will be using that from today - hope it works because my little girl is suffering.

Wasn't brave enough to try the yoghurt yet, but might venture that way next week. Can't believe how big they are getting.

Eileen, good luck with the dedication plans. Post pics afterward :)

Morning every one

Robyn_C - I also found the Olli biscuits break quiet easily even though she seemed to enjoy them. I stopped using them and giving her the breadsticks now and sometimes plain fingers of toast.

Kerry_A - That pic is soooo adorable! I also bought new rubber bath toys for P as she loves to play in the bath now and splashes like mad

M2M - is the name of the place skaapland in Belville for the baby biltong - would love to get P some

Eileen_B - LOL LOL  at sucking on a Gherkin! She has such an advanced palate for a little baby

Girly - I love K's new pics on Facebook. At first I was confused when I saw the pics of Connor and then saw the ones with her in background

Charnenay - Congrats on the Competition - will look out for her pic, did you say it's in the current Living and Loving?

Is anyone giving their babies Vitamins?
