Ooooh look at how cute your LO is! Cant wait to see/meet all the LO's & mommies
Anyone else keen?
I am waiting on M2M for good directions from the N1 and then I'll send you a PM with directions.
Eek good luck going back to work. DH said today he doesnt understand why maternity leave means going back to work when baby is 3months, cos thats when they start becoming 'fun'.
BabyKs mom ditto on the weight loss. Your story sounds just like mine. Still have 6.5kgs to lose, but I stay hungry and thirsty with breastfeeding, and I have a very sweet tooth - must be energy craving. But I'm trying to find some inspiration to eat better. I get to pilates once a week but the last 2 the babysitter (granny) has had a tummy bug so I couldnt go.
M2J shame sounds like your evenings are quite hectic. I have the same issue with overstimulation during the day. So I am limiting this as much as I can. Just a couple of toys/mobiles, and talking with mom. It seems to be getting better. She also doesnt sleep well during the day. Wakes after 30mins, then I pick her up and try get her back to sleep but in my arms. Sometimes she'll go another 30mins but only if in my arms the 2nd stretch and much lighter sleep.
Re sleep - do you still swaddle her? Maybe if you do, and tuck two rolled receivers next to her so that she feels snug she may sleep better on her side?
I am personally very fearful of tummy sleeping especially while I'm fast asleep as I sleep very deeply and only wake when she wakes for her early morning feeds. They do tend to sleep deeper on their tummies, but this is part of the risk of SIDS is that they go into such a deep sleep it can cause going into a coma. The sister at the b/feeding clinic suggested I let K sleep on her tummy while I'm awake and once she's sleeping deeply turn her onto her side or back.
NikkiP its always nice to see your girls progress since Peytons a few weeks older than K.
She sounds like a very pleasant happy little girl who is developing so nicely!
Does she go for toys on her own or just hold on if you give it to her? At what age do they start grabbing for things? I'm patiently waiting for K. She'll hold something if I give it to her but only as a reflex.
We have a teething baby

Since Thursday she's been quite niggly. Saturday was really bad and we had to leave a party early even though MIL took her home at bed time so that she'd go sleep. Yesterday was fine but today its bad again. She is gnawing so hard on her knuckles its leaving red marks on her hands. So got the teething toy out and got DH to buy some Dynexan (?) for some relief. May also give ponado till it dies down. Some of the other remedies are only suitable from 6months.
She loves her new mobile and was talking away and laughing at it today. No grabbing yet.
Its 9pm and I'm dishing supper! Today has been really really tough, lots of swear words and ready to throw things. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
