Hi Ladies,

Congrats to Mommy2J and BabyZee!!!

And good luck Girly, tomorrow you will be holding Kaylee!!

As for me, been VERY MIA - finally on ML, and spent the first 2 days just relaxing. This is the first time I even switched on the PC.

Going to UIF today - hope I don't end up spending 3 hours

As for baby, getting big, but showing no signs of coming early. Midwife says he hasn't dropped/engaged yet, and she expects me to go to due date, if not past.

So much for the bets - the main one was that I wont make the end of the week

Got moomie working on my phone, so will try to keep up a bit more.

Still at work today, and tomorrow... then I can relax at home until Kaelyn decides it's time... hubby just laughs at me... tells me my like i will walk out of work and go into labour...

:-) Everyone here is suprised to see me every morning!

Shame mommy2J, the nurses sound cruel! Well all that counts is your little ones health so good on you for phoning the paediatrician! I would have too! It never ever hurts to be cautious!

M2J you making me soo jealous!

Good for following your instincts, this is just really scary. But so serious. My best friend had a normal birth and was only in hospital for one night. We arranged for me to spent the day with her, as she had no help nearby. On my way to her house she phoned me......her child stopped breathing and was going blue. Luckily I was outside her house...jumped over a 6 foot fence (5 Months pregnant) and rushed to her. We got Danielle to breathe and took her to hospital again where they sucked the mucus out....only months later it was discovered that Danielle had braindamage. Today she is a precious little girl, but will never be able to go to a normal school etc.

Girly, enjoy your last day of having ur heart to yourself! Once Kaylee is born your heart will be walking outside your body forever.

With both my girls the actual c-section really was a breaze, the most painfull part is putting in the iv in my arm. The epidural is really much scarier in once's head. I am just so excited for your sake!!!!!

I have my gynae appointment today. And then gotto rush to the Eistedford for my girl.

8 days and counting for me....

Hi ladies

so hubby brought me the laptop and i just finished changing sienna after her feed (she had her 4th mycodiun poo) since she was born and just as i finished she weed all over the place so i changed her then she brang up milk on her shoulder and i had to change her again....i forgot how often that happens needless to say she was not impressed with me...ha ha like it was my fault!
she was screaming the place down!

Girly, it is amazing how quickly the body heals its day 2 and i am as mobile and pain free as i was before the cut. im a little tender but nothing to serious, like i said the trick is to start moving asap and dont stop, take a break every now and again but keep trying to use muscles. i didnt recover this easy last time as i was laying down alot more on day 2, if you keep moving on day 2 even through the pain by the evening you are stronger then ever but give yourself the time to recover it is a serious op and needs time to heal!

your baby breech most probably means she with be born flawless, sienna was so lodged in my cervix and pushed dow there by my cramp and spasm attacks i was having 3 weeks prior that when she was born her face was so squashed, her ear was pushed closed and her lil head also squashed we on day 3 tomorrow and she starting to take form now....shame she was really lodged in there good!

I havnt posted a birth story yet, but forgot to say that my waters broke on there own the night i was admitted, how strange! i was sleeping and thought i had wet myself, and when i stood up water gushed out and it didnt stop until she came out, gynae said she was ready to come and we couldnt have planned it better, she has had alot of mucus in her ears and mouth and nose and eyes and she is very puffy, she chokes on the mucus and forgets to inhale she has had me in a panic more then once so after consulting with nurses who are brushing it off as normal since she was born tonight i took it upon myself to call her paedatrition (iv had his number since jess was born) and ask him, he was not happy and called the hospital and perscribed meds to dry all the mucos, the sisers in charge were not happy i had called him but hey he made a plan and she was in the incubator and 2 hrs later after meds and oxygen and suctioning she could breathe out her nose again, shame i felt so sorry for her and my concerns fell to deaf ears when it came to nursing staff, i have to say i have been less then impressed with the over all hospital, no nursing chair to feed baby, no help or support with breast feeding, cleaning after op, or moving around ect ect its been like a goverment hospital nightmare and its a dam privaet clinic! but all i care about is sienna, and the night sister tonight has been great even though we started on the wrong foot with me phoning doc, she has been great and sienna is looking and feeling better!

GIRLY
i hope your hospital experiance is better then mine, but like i said the c-sec was amazing. soon as the spinal kicks (i didnt even feel the needle) and your leggs go warm ther is nothing else to do but wait to meet your daughter!

The catheter is a bit uncomfortable, but the spinal takes that away to!!
Enjoy your day before the big day tomorrow your life changes...goodluck

Mommy2J congratulations on Sienna's arrival!!!
So glad the C/Sec went well for you (makes me feel a lot better too!)
And wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope you will be able to post pics soon :)

Eileen your baby room looks so modern and comfy! Awesome super compactum!

Kerry cute doggy!
Lovely nursery! Looks very organised :)
When do you finish work?

Judesmom how you doing? Any signs of arrival? Maybe our girls will share a birthday hmmm?

AFM had my very last scan today!
Doc had to rush out as he had a patient in labour, so we didnt really get to 'chat' re the c/sec. But he did remind me that since she's breech the first thing we're going to see is her little bum, lol.
She's still 2 weeks behind but has been like that for the last month. Long as she's healthy hey.

Now trying to figure out how to spend my LAST DAY before she arrives! Such a weird weird feeling!

Hi everyone

Sienna was born yesterday at 7:45am measuring 50 cm and 3kg.

My c-sec went amazing, the spinal didnt hurt at all and kicked in immediately and with in 15 minutes of being in theatre i heard my lil girl crying!

she came out so easy DH disagrees and sais it was much more brutal then i like to think it was, but from my side of the curtain it was a piece of cake!

Recovery however has been difficult and i recomment you take evrything they possibly offer for pain and you get up an walk on day 2, and you keep busy dont lie down to much after day 2 it slows everything down. Took a shower by myself today and feeling better, and dh has been amazing!
