August-September 2010 Moms

Ok, so I got my blood results today! My GP had to get it for me, because when I phoned my gynea on Fri, the receptionist said that she they did not receive it yet!!! So my GP (also my spiritaul father) said that he'll try and get it today! GUESS WHAT???? The results was delivered to my gynea on the 22nd already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm very dissapointed, but in the same breath so AMAZED by God's Grace and protection!!!

So, my results is not as good as I expected it to be

My protein in my blood is very low, my albomien (liver function) (don't know the english) is also very low and my plaatjie telling (sorry, no english) is also very low! The bottom of the story is that something is not right with my kidneys and they are leaking!!! My GP says that this is very serious and he can not believe that they did not phone me yet!!!! I tried to phone my gynea this afternoon to ask her about this, but she is in theater the whole day and there spreekkamer is locked untill tomorrow!! Praise God that I have an appointment tomorrow at 08:15.. I'm really going to speak my mind!!! This is very serious!!

Ladies, please keep me and Armand in your prayers!! I don't know what they're gona do or what is going to happen, but as long as my little boy is safe, i'm prepared to do any thing!!

We still need to bring in the compactum, and feeding chair. And then its just a lamp, cd player and some stickers and the nappy bin.
We will get the baby bath on stand from the friend who is lending it to us at the end of July.

If doc says ur cervix is softening and showing signs of dilation, I would suggest you start your maternity leave asap.
You should have a few weeks to yourself & to finalise things before baby arrives, and time to get some much needed rest while you still can.
If your work could allow you to work half day from now till mid July that would be better than full day, or alternatively that you take some work home if you can?
But dont put yourself under too much pressure please! You need rest & relaxation now!

We managed to find a pram in stock at Baby boom. I'm so relieved! This is the one we're getting I am very happy with our choice.

Hi ladies..
Just want to brag with my mom!! She baked this cake herself, even all the detail on top of the cake she maked herself. It is all out of icing!! She is so good with cakes!!! What do you ladies think?

Morning almost-mommies!

I need some advise please?!
I went to the doc last week and everything is going very well with our little girl. I was 32weeks at the time but babba was 34 weeks in size. (although it feels like she's 40 weeks!)
My due date was on the 17th of Aug but it's changed to first week of Aug.
I'm suppose to go on ML by the 16th of July which is now 2 weeks before due date, but now I'm starting to wonder if I shouldn't go atleast a week earlier... I struggle alot lately - When I walk it's sore (lower back and lower body) and sleeping is more than a mission than it is to relax. AND the doc said 'my baarmoeder het reeds begin sag raak en eks stadig besig om te ontsluit' (sorry for the Afr.) Is there anyone of you ladies that have experienced the same situation?
I'm not quite sure what to do from here on. Please help?

Morning ladies..

Sjo, what a suprise!!!! I had my baby shower this weekend!! It was a suprise baby shower and I enjoyed every second of it!! Must say, i was very tired afterwards!! My mom did so much effort!!!

I got a lot of goodies!!!! So glad I didn't buy anything before my babyshower, because I got everything!!!!! I feel so Blessed!!!

I did not upload the piccies yet, but I'll do it tonight and then post a few!!!

I phoned the doc on Fri and they did not get my results yet from the lab??????? Hopefully I'll get them today!!
