Hey ladies

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

My baby shower was awesome!!! My sister planned it soooo beautifully. I got sooo much stuff - washed evrything on Saturday when I got home (yip, I'm impatient like that) and then got the last things dry yesterday morning. Re-packed baby's hospital bag because I got some cute newborn stuff at the baby shower, so wanted to swop some of what was already in the bag. Oh my word, Emily's drawers are not big enough!!!! I told DH he is going to have to build another one and I have run out of hangers for her, so need to go and get some more baby hangers as well. And........ I'm having another baby shower at work today!! No idea where I am going to put all her clothes anymore.

Went to buy the last things for my hospital bag yesterday and packed last night - so now my bags are packed as well. When I was done packing, I sat down with DH to watch a movie and then I told him "You know what, I am ready for this baby, she can come now" he wasn't too impressed - says she is still very comfortable and needs to stay put for another 4 weeks at least

Going to see the dr again on Wednesday - can't wait. Then I see her every 2 weeks only, so only 3 more visits for me.

Girly, I am going to use Tums2Mums for my UIF. We pay R350 because we are with a mediclinic and a few other ladies here have used them with good results recently, so I'm going to go ahead and give it a try.

Our cot is up, and room is finally starting to look like a baby room now
Hopefully in the next week the big stuff will all be here and I can do the decor!

Not much to report. Kaylee has quiet and active days. I get so scared when she's quiet still, especially after a busy one.
But yesterday she was nice and was very active. And her movements are much higher now too, above my belly button. She gets hick ups at least once a day. So cute!

About those temper's - I am awful when driving! I shout and get all irritated when people are stupid on the road. I hope it goes away when baby arrives!

Next gynae visit on 8th July, so just over a week to go. And then 3 weeks later (save us some $$) and then we'll see.

Charnenay have you decided to go with a UIF assist company for your documents?
I'm in 2 minds about it...

Anyway, hope everyone is doing well.

Charnaney - hope u enjoyed the baby shower, post sum pics wen u get a chance not much longer then u on maternity leave, sure u cant wait, makes 2 of us!!!

Nikki_P - not much longer to go too, cant believe how quick time is going now, before we know it, out lo's will be here!

Naikza - I know the feeling about work, month end sucks, so glad my temp is starting on Thursday so i can train here 'n have her do much of my load of work, i'm getting really tired now...

Sonjat - glad to hear your scan went well

I'm sleeping over at the inlaws tonight, MIL is spoiling me, even made me a tin of choc chips cookies 'n tomorrow morning I know i'm going to wake up to a scrumptious breakfast but i know this is all for lil p but I benefit too

Oh 'n my mom told me by accident that my inlaws are planning on having a surprise baby shower for me this coming Saturday here so I godda play it as if I don't know anything
Gonna be hard though, my MIL had to hide a few goodies away when I told her i'm sleeping over, shame

Dh is still trying to find work here and there, he wants out so desperately, he went for an interview on Thursday, waiting for that outcome so if his heard nothing yet, his gonna try 'n make plans to get a temp transfer to his company here for a month or 2 as he wants to be here when I go on maternity leave, mid July!

U guys are so organised with packing of ur bags etc., I haven't started yet, mine or lil p's, i'm just so tired over week-ends 'n all I wanna so is zzz I'm gonna wait 'n see what I get at the baby shower before I get any last minute things too!

I went to the bank this morning to sort out part of my forms for the UIF, getting that rolling...see some of you are only going back to work in the New Year, lucky u guys, I'm back again in November I know i'm gonna miss lil p soooo much but I'm hoping DH strikes it lucky somehow 'n manages to come here 'n after my contract finishes in Feb at work, I could maybe try 'n find a half day job as I'm trying to find a day mother also for her when I go back to work...

My next scan is on Friday, should be about 34 weeks coming and my appointments are also coming close together now, every 2 weeks...

I popped into Dischem on the way home 'n i saw every second person walking out with pampers nappie packs, i believe they having a big sale with those...'n i made a point this time to buy me nipple cream, any of u guys started using this?

Just finished a huge block of fudge, lil p definitely liked that

Are you guys also finding it hard to get a comfortable sleeping position... I guess this is preparing us for the months ahead hey sleepless nights and running to the loo often

So good to read that everyone is doing so well!!!

Charnenay - Enjoy the babyshower today. I also overdid the clothes shopping - couldnt help myself and got tons more at the babyshower.

M2M - that was a scare - so glad to hear you both are fine - I also had a few falls in the beginning, thankfully nothing serious.

JudesMom - LO already engaged - wow not long now.

Girly - I'm also seeing my gynae more than once a month now, saw him on Wed and then must see him in two weeks and then every week.

Naikza - i've also become quite moody recently - its the drastic changes in our hormonal levels. Last week I felt and acted like a dragon! My poor family had to put up with crazy mood swings!

Sonjat - congrats on Mia's progress - also feeling feeling very broody right now especially when i saw Peyton in 4D!

Hi ladies
Hope you are all having a relaxing weekend. Have missed chattin hea but its been crazy at work month end trying to finish wages etc n a bit anxious cos last check up was told baby could be hea in next 2 weeks n a week has passed already. So hope i can finish all that i have to do.

I am glad that for all babies are growing nicely.

M2M you had quite a scare but glad that you n lo are ok.

To those having baby showers this weekend enjoy it .

I feel nowadays i have a short temper n my poor little guy has to bare my tantrums, i hope it disappears soon cos i feel like im becoming a monster.
Time seems to be flying soon we wil be having our lo's n start a new journey. Take care ladies n try n have a relaxing n restful weekend.
