Charn - wow, the nursery looks amazing, looks like u just waiting on Emily to arrive now Wish I had a proper nursery for lil p too but i'm staying with my mom so i'm sharing a room with her...she has all the necessary things, just need the odd things like her nappy bag etc. Still have to complete her net for the cot, sew on the butterflies 'n so on...

Ur belly's are looking great ladies & the scans too

U guys are going for ur 4D scans already...
Looking forward to my scan next week & when DH is here...just wish he was in Ct already with us & we had our own space...

Work is murder, i'm soooo tired at night, i'm normally lights out this time already...just have to dry my hair quick...
My manager asked me when I'm taking my maternity as we need to get a temp in for the 3 'n half months i'm off...im on a fixed contract which ends Feb next yr, don't think i want to stay on longer at this place when my contract ends, soooo wish I could have finished off here now 'n be at home with lil p when she comes, just take sometime off, sure we all feeling this way already...

I really thought they only did toddler & up - must've missed the nurdery/baby stuff
I'll probably get most of the bedding (mattress, bumper, change mat etc) from Baby City but they don't have nice linen

Hi to all the August Mommies.Can I join you? I am now 25 weeks and 2 days along and I am expecting a little boy...We have decided on the Tristan Douglas as his name.
I cant wait anymore just want to hold my little pink foot. Has anyone of you p's gone to Peekababe for scans? I was supposed to go to Claremont Fetal Assesment Clinic and missed my appointment coz I had stomach flu. On the day I cancelled my appointment the lady at Claremont was so rude and tried to not get me to cancel by saying she is going to tell my Gynae if I don't come. I was quite disgusted and decided not to reschedule. I now have an appointment with Peekababe next Saturday. Can't wait, looking forward to my 4D scan. Is there any of you pf's from Cape Town? My Gynae is Dr. Christine Van Heerden, anyone else using her as their Gynae?

Robyn - yes that is the TIny Love Princess Mobile. It works beautifully - plays Chopin, Mozart, Bach and Nature Sounds. Also, the top part (they toys that hang over the cot) comes off easily, so if you want baby to go and sleep you can just take that away and you are left with only the night light and the music or nature sounds. And yip, I got the linen from Mr. Price as well - they have very nice 100% cotton sheets and pillow cases and I got 2 x quilts from them as well. THey have beautiful designs (I just went for the more plain ones because I have the very colourful mobile. Only thing for the cot that I did not get from them is the Bumper because I found there's to be very flimsy, so I got that from the Baby Room.

Charn - is that the Tiny Princess mobile? I'm getting that as well - have you played with it yet - does it work nicely?
I also wanted the same Maluti rocking chair from Baby City but we just don't have space in the nursery as we are leaving the bed (so will just use that to feed etc)
I'm really struggling with linen for the cot (also have a wooden cot) - did you get yours from Mr Price Home as well?

We have chosen the paint now so are going to paint this month and then get the carpets steam-cleaned. Then we can put up the cot, order the compactum and set up the nursery

Sonja- ag ek hoop so, nie dat ek daarop bargain nie…want nou moet ek oor begin oefen (gym/hardloop) net om my fiksheid weer reg te kry sodat ek at least volgende jaar die oceans half met gemak kan doen…al het ek ‘n paar ekstra kilos…

Girly I carried similar with Jadon, were never that big with him. I only had bit fluid retention. See the pic below it was just before we left for hospital…mind you I was only 36w3d there…so if I had to carry full term I’d had a big belly… can’t wait for my scan and to find out what baba weights ect….



Charn – you are truly an inspiration to me. Wow girl you are organized! I keep on forgetting that you are actually a bit ahead of us – week wise.
