Sonay yes i guess i could just express extra feeds and will try, If not i can give her formula just for those feeds, we will see how it goes and what they give me.

Kerry the pics are stunning and big thumbs up to still breastfeeding. As for next week, can't you pump a couple of feeds for that time? As for the op, strongs, hope it's not too sore.

I so hear you guys on them getting evrything in their mouths and on being more interested in the cheapie things rather than the real expensive toys.
I realise this once again how much boys and girls differ. With our son everything he could lay his hands on was "converted" to a gun (even though he never had any gun-toys). While with our little girl, everything is either a baba or a telephone.

So Sher, now it's only your little one that's still left.

Shani turned 1 on Sat. We didn't have a party but I did bake a cake. She loved all the faffing around her. No idea how much she weighs now, going for her 1 yr jabs next week. She is on Nan 3 now, 600ml a day. Her eating is still bad. Although this morning she had quite a bit of jungle oats.

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. And to the CT ladies, I really hope the weather clears and it gets a bit warmer.

TGIF!!!!! (even though it's cold and raining again in CPT)

BKM - I totally understand, you just want to have some cheap, easy toys (cos they don't always like the expensive toys but more the box/wrapping they come in) but you have to be so careful
We found D this morning in her cot, with a ribbon around her neck!
What happened was there was 1 helium balloon left over from her party on the bed
Sometime during the night, there must have been a breeze or something and the balloon floated towards the cot
just close enough for D to grab the ribbon attached to it and play with it so that it ended up through the cot bars and around her neck!!
Luckily it was pretty light-weight ribbon, but you just never know with these kids!!!

I don't know with the breastfeeding, i guess i can really only continue until the anasthetic next friday so i guess its about time i gave up. Was hoping to keep it up till shes finished with the milk, but i guess it has been a year already.

Yes the little adventures inevitably end badly... but i guess they have to learn somehow!

Sher, That is just HORRIBLE! My sister almost had a smash and grab there too.. It is just the worst feeling, having everything taken from you. While you are ok it is still such a violation. I hope you are ok and that you feel better soon xxx

OMW, BabyK! I would have had heart failure. Thank goodness everything is ok! You couldnt have known. I had no idea there was stuff in the lid. How odd! Your nerves must be shot!

Our babies are getting so adventurous! Evan fell in the bathroom this morning - the floor was wet but he insisted on "looking" for dad in the shower. Thank goodness he missed hitting his head on the little step by the shower. He then pulled DH's big desk lamp down and almost bashed his brains out there! My heart!
