GIRLY - WONDERFUL NEWS!!!

I hope it all goes ok with the new company. Even if it is a little less it's better than not having anything?

Evan doesnt sleep well on weekends - in the day - but is good at school. Also he resists bed time while he's hanging with Daddy but the second we go upstairs he wants to go straight to bed and doesnt want to bath. I put him in the bath and then it's a fight to get him out...

His 4 teeth are just not cutting through - they are pushing, his gums are terribly swollen. It terrible :( I wish they'll just cut through now :(

He is speaking well and and fully undersands words and instructions.

I have sinusitis and laryngitus at the moment so Everytime I cough Evan comes to check I am ok. He is so cute but also has temper tantrums.

Kerry sorry for the BFN - But at least it's only the 1st month... Things will get better with everything else... Deep breaths hunni!

Hey girls

Just a quick pop in - will have to catch up tomorrow!

Had our scan this afternoon and all is well.
It looks like yet another Team Pink!!! Kaylee is getting a sister

The same happened on my previous mommy group, almost everyone had girls! Unbelievable!

And I have been offered a job! It's a little less salary than I currently earn but with some potential for growth. Its close to home, and they close for 3 weeks in December which always works well with school closures.
Just gotta finalize with hubby tonight to make sure he's in agreement, and then I start on Monday morning!
I totally forgot to mention the pregnancy because I was so surprised by the quick job offer. So I will have to tell them on Monday. They cannot really discriminate by law but I hope it doesnt change their impression of me. I did also want to wait until the scan before disclosing that info to make sure all was fine!

First angel resting 25/06/2009 stayed with us a short 7 weeks but we still miss you.

Flowergirl, Kaelyn gets like that too... especially lately it seems to be linked with her growth/learning spurts, but it still doesn't help me remain calm when shes fighting sleep like a trooper!

Hope you enjoyed the cheese rolls for supper! I think i might take a leaf out of your hat tonight... DH is writing his last exam tomorrow so its been a hectic two weeks with him getting in cramming and me trying to look after K single handed... i take my hat off to single moms here seriously i do!

Mothers day was good... K slept till 8am... i was actually starting to wonder if she was still alive in there at around 7:30 ish as she had been giving us such a raw deal with the sleep from monday to friday night that on sat night i succumed to giving her three drops of rescue remedy in her night time bottle...

Robyn, looks like you had an amazing holiday! :-) Sorry about mothers day, though ours was pretty similar... :-)

anyway i got slippers and my fav chocolates but then dad had to study so my parents and i went out to lunch and did a little shopping...

It looks like the sleep issue is definately caused by sleeping too much at creche as on sat and sunday night after only having 1 nap in the day she was an angel going to bed without a fight and staying asleep all night... back to 2 naps at creche yesterday and a little devil again last night... at creche she has a 45 min nap at 9 and then a two hour nap just after lunch (say 1:30 is to 3:30 ish) surely thats too much... but the teacher says if she lets k stay up with the bigger kids then she get miserable before the lunch time nap... funnily enough at home she has 1 45 minute nap from 12 till lunch time and is perfectly fine... you couldn't get her to sleep more no matter how hard you try so i just dont get it

anyways i guess i am just pretty spent, still very bummed over the BFN / AF visit this weekend and i dunno just everything seems to be going pear shaped this year... :-( i can seem to get by anymore its one fight to another fight every little thing is a huge mission! and i don't mean with DH i mean simple things... you phone the nurse to take k for her shots... she says no problem i am here until 5 get there with k... no she says k looks flushed, please could we bring her back on in two days (Specifically agreeing on thursday). We take her back on thursday only to be told sorry the nurse left at 3:30... umm we had an appointment.... no sorry come back tomorrow... fought with the creche coz K who doesnt have a bottle in the day when she is home with us somehow managed to finish a whole tin of NIDO in 11 days at creche... - thats like 2 and a half bottles a day... now fighting again over the sleep issue....

Had to go to CT for Josh's Grans funeral with short notice, spent a fortune R6000 on plane tickets alone, just manage to come to terms with that having been taken out the bond, go on holiday paid by my parents and the clutch on the car threatens giving out, replace that R6000 and... just one thing after another

I realise i am being selfish and stupid many women battle on and on and on to get pregnant and don't... Many people would kill to be where i am, but i just cant seem to bring myself around  just seems somewhere somehow i need to get a break!

Anyway, sorry guys... massive rant... it'll pass, just frustration i guess

Hi Ladies
Sorry been MIA but after taking a week off, work has ben INSANE!!!
We had a wonderful (but exhausting) trip
Will add some pics
Mother's Day was abit of a dud. It started off well - DH took D to choose some flowers
for me - got pretty pink roses, and choccies as well as tea & croissants in bed and said
we were going out for lunch, but then he decided to do some DIY around the house and
ended up spending the whole day working outside, so I had to run after and keep D
occupied - not very relaxing!!

Kerry - sorry to hear about the BFN. But like you said, better luck next month :)

I am convinced Emily suffers from bouts of insomnia. She woke at about 4:15AM this morning and tossed and turned for hours! She eventually only went back to sleep at 6:45AM! Shame, poor baby - I coudl tell she was irritated and really wanted to go back to sleep. I brought her to my bed because DH is in DBN for 2 nights. So, I am a bit tired today... have to be at work early tomorrow morning for class at 8Am, so definitelty getting to bed early tonight. Since its just my mom and I, I am not even going to worry with supper - will just make ham and cheese rolls!!Sure Em will love that as well.

Hope everyone had a great Mothers Day. Mine was a bit chaotic :( DH left early yesterday morning already, so we hardly saw him. Then I cooked because we were having lunch at my sisters place and I was in charge of Roast Chicken, Roast Potatoes, Butternut and Mushroom Sauce. Em and I left for my sisters house at about 11:30 and only got home at 18:30!! Then it was supper, bath and bedtime for Emily. My mom came to stay with us, so she and I watched a movie and then went to bed. So, pretty much a busy, busy day.... as always. I got the most beautiful orchard as well as some leather boots that I have been eyeing though :) How was your mothers day??

:-) Sadly i don't have a choice but to get up that early :-( I am also so not a morning person! But its that or waste loads of $$ sitting in heavy traffic every day.

Had the tests and did a test on sat morning... BFN! :-( and then AF decided to pop in for mothers day so most definately not...

Better luck this month i guess.
