Hi All, after fridays quite everyone is so chirpy again today - nice!

Anthea - welcome!! Sorry youve been getting no sleep with the 'neibours'

Mrs S - Thats a good name - I suggested Alexandra to Dh - but he wasnt impressed :( . Yr man is such a sweet honey! Hope your friend had a great baby shower and is doing well!

Maureen - Im so glad that you are doing so well! Praying that little James gets stronger all the sooner.

Noster - wonderful!! Great on the baby shower

Jelly - Oh no! Please recover nicely from the bronchitus, stay in bed and get dh or mil to make you some yummy chicken soup - they say it does wonders for nasal and chest infections.

Eve & Skyler - OOPS for your grass. I think its just the lack of sunlight. My BIL put some fertilizer on his and its stays pretty much grn. I have been using an organic fertilizer which also helped and I did notice that the new grass I planted (Canadian green) is greener than the old buffalo.

Nelria - Good luck to your dh in his new venture

Cape Town. EDD 21ish June

Mrs SH - I have no idea about the time, I just assumed it will start at 7. And I don't have Riana's number on hand. Thanks for bringing that up, we would have rocked up at 7 when everyone was done!

Victo - I think baba's weight is normal. Our LG was 2kg at 32 weeks, so seems fine to me.

EDD 16 JUNE 2011

Morning ladies,

Mrs SH- I love the name you have chosen.

Maureen- That nappy change is so funny. Really happy to hear Jamie is doing so well.

Ronel- I am also waiting for my BS... I am one of those people who really lack patience (I am a virgo) and really want to have it so that I know what else I still need to buy.

Jellybaby- I hope you feel better soon!!!!!!!!!!

We spent so much this weekend- on Saturday we ordered the wooden cutouts for LG room and the pegboard. We bought a gorgeous lamp and room border. Remember we decided to do a Bug theme.
Yesterday- we bought the block out blinds, lamp shade, panel heater and shelf.
My DH also seems to have hit the nesting period as he is doing all the things around the house that have been waiting for 2 1/2 yrs to be done!

Morning ladies!

Maureen - thanks for sharing your story. I am so happy that Jamie is strenghtening and growing every day. He is getting the best care possible and we pray for him every night. LOVE the nappy story! Might have to keep that one from DH, he is still thinking he can get out of it...that will just push him over. Good luck - he is gorgeous by the way!

Eve - yay for all the shopping! Re lawn: we dumped a whole lot of compost on the lawn and it seemed to do the trick. Just water it very regularly (every second day).

Ronel - I'm going to go there (Babyroom) today. R20 is not bad at all. What time is tonight - 18h15? Gorgeous name - I really really like it!

Nelria - what shakes are you talking about? And when are your drawers coming? We were waiting for ours too - hence the late start with the baby room.

I am also struggling to sleep these days. Or let me rephrase, I sleep fine up until 3 in the morning and then I'm awake! I got up at 4 this morning and read until 4.45 and caught a few more hours of kip. It's my brain that doesn't want to switch off. I had that kak day at work on Friday and went over it in my head so many times...so it's not even baby related. So looking forward to not working anymore! Only 2 more weeks!

And I suddenly feel huge and heavy - baby related. But my belly isn't like massive massive. I guess that's still coming?

We were 34 weeks on Sunday. I've started counting down differently now, instead of saying I have about 6 weeks left, I now say like 5 and a half etc.

Anyway, have a splendid day preggy friends and mommies!

PS. Skyler - have they started building, is it terrible?

Hi Ladies, wish I could say I had a restful weekend but I got so little sleep that I feel like I'm in a coma today.

There's a nightclub close to where I stay and for some reason the people decided to party outside of the club as well - revving their cars, pumping the music and my personal favourite fighting and argueing. I think we must have called the SAPS about 8 - 10 times over the weekend. And although, bless them, they did come out to try and disperse the crowed, when one lot leaves another just replaces them. Going to have to chat to our ward councillor about this one. :(

Can't wait for my baby shower so I can start crossing things off my "To Buy" list. But that's only on the 5th June, so I have just a bout a month to wait in anticipation. Have a hospital tour booked tomorrow, so looking forward to that.
