Maureen - why only 5 consultations and not 8? Also why can't your Dr change codes - so bloody simple!!!

Eve - I spend my entire night jolting myself awake! Could be because of the cold I had recently left me with a bit of a blocked nose. So again like in December feel its my mind waking me up and not letting me sleep as if I am going to choke in my sleep. How odd!

Morning ladies

I hope you are all well!

Alex - I wrote some exams last year while pregnant but didn't feel the effects of being pregnant yet so it was fine. I did however fail my Afrikaans exam because DH told me that if I start stressing in the exam, I must just stop, and that's what I did :) He was worried I would loose baby. I'm writing 3 this semester and 3 next, and I have one year module which is a prac (thank goodness that is done though, just need to hand it in)

Lucy - re sleeping, I do find that I don't get enough Deep Sleep but it only seems to bother me during the week. Had awful dreams last night, DH got killed, woke up sweating and crying. I then couldn't go back to sleep - kept dozing and jolting myself awake.

Maureen - that sucks with Discovery. They haven't gotten back to me yet and they said by last Friday! I'm just holding thumbs. Phone them and give them a piece of your mind.

Morning ladies,

Glad to see you all had a good weekend. We had the Christening on Saturday. It was traumatising, the greeks really make a scene out of anything. Through the whole ceremony, my niece was screaming her head off and her mother wasn't allowed to touch her at all. Instead her godparents had to do everything. Thing is her godparents has only seen her like twice, so she doesn't know them at all. I was so freaking out, was crying the whole time. The after thingy was fun though.
Yesterday we just chilled, bought our month end gorceries and also went to the movies to watch, Jakkalsdans. Which was good. Afrikaans and all.

Ladies I am so peeved off with Discovery. So I get my letter back for the application for PMB, and guess what they will only cover 5 consultations. And all on code 0191, my doctor uses 0190 and won't change the code jsut for me! So much help that was. Going to phone Discovery this morning and give them a piece of my mind! Idoits.

Evening ladies!

Thanks for the welcome guys! It’s really great to be in contact with everyone, you women rock!

Eve- I’ve written a total of 7 exams so far during my pregnancy and all I have to say is that each time it feels like it’s harder to remember and concentrate, so you are not alone! I have four semester modules and five year modules, at this point I don’t care about distinctions, I just want to pass.

Nelria- I drop things all the time!! Then I bend down (takes lots of effort) to pick it up and drop it again! So annoying!

Lucy- I’m tired all the time and I just figured it’s the mental energy involved in studying that’s draining me but you right about us not getting enough deep sleep. I swear my brain is active throughout the night!

Re falling, it hasn’t happened yet (touch wood) but I’m always climbing on chairs to get things in the kitchen ( I swear it was built for giant people) so I think I’ll play it safe from now and stay away from climbing on anything, best to not tempt fate.

I plan to hand wash baby clothes next week, Mark thinks I’m silly and should just dump it in the machine but I want to do this at least once, Lord knows if I’ll have time or energy to once Mateo is born.

My hospital bag is making some nice progress as well. Bought most of the things that I need, feeling good that the lists are being ticked off.

I went to the movies on Sat and maybe I'm just more sensitive to things but it was so freaking loud I started panicking that it's not good for my baby. Couldn't enjoy it at all, then again it was a fraky and dark movie "the clash of the titans," not one that a person can really enjoy.

I need to come online to prevent me from writing a book :) Enjoy the days off ladies!

Gosh at least Im not experiencing Insomnia... cause that is much worse that being over tired! At least being over tired it really does help to get 40 winks... but with Insomnia, your body is tired and your mind wont let you sleep!

I read up and apparently being so sleeping is normal for this trimester. Its cause we dont get enough REM or DEEP SLEEP. So our body is still tired even if it seems you are sleep all day every day... its the quality that makes you feel refreshed... and Im not getting enough quality...

I guess again our bodies preparing us...

Hey Lucy

I have certain days when I feel like I could sleep the entire day but that is normally during the week.

On weekends, I have loads more energy though, but probably because I'm stuck indoors all week :)

Sleep when you want - not long to go my friend and then ull be begging for sleep ehhehehehehe
