London is weighing 2.7kg and if all goes well will be around 3.6kg at full term. Next visit is in 2 weeks and yes EVE they do an internal... lufly like you said! But all is good I guess. I had all the normal tests when I arrived, BP, Urine, Weight etc... But then also got put onto a fetal heart monitor and they do this for the last 3 visits. I was told my BP is high again which is to be expected around this time - so need to take Meds 3 times a day now. But no protein in urine which is great! Also Dr confirmed she will give me a sick note for a week off.... which I must used before the 1 weeks leave i am putting in before my Maternity Leave. Reason it can't follow on to Maternity Leave is that then it gets automatically added on and your ML is shortened she said. As long as I take Annual Leave after or got back to work for a day or 2 then they wont add it...

Quess all you need for baby then is clothes and receiving blankets and some spoeg doeke.

Molly pants-are those disposable panties for mommy. THe day of birth and day after the bleeding can sometimes be alot,so you can just throw away those panties and dont have to stain your nice ones...
Ladies remember to put some "growwe sout" in your toiletry bag-realy helps alot for the bruising or stictches and some dettol fresh!

Hallo ladies,Glad you all had a nice weekend.
I also tried to rest the weekend,had some funny pains on saturday(no Braxton hicks). They went on until sunday,think it was some round ligament pain. Better now,guess I will also stop exercising-the baby defnitly dropped I can fit a whole hand between my ribs and belly.
WIth previous babies that also happened very early,and I managed to go until 38 weeks.

I've washed my babies with the aques cream in the beginning and then later Elizabeth Anne.
Just be carefull dont wash the hair with the pink elizabeth Annes cream-they get cradle cap from it.

Do anyone of you know what is in the medic clinic baby bag?

Last weeks of gynae checkups - frightening stuff that I was told. Apparently gynae does a normal check up with the ultrasound etc but then he also uses his fingers and does an internal. My friends at school told me this because they said they weren't informed it happens and they got a shock. Apparently from around 35 weeks or so, you can expect internal exams again - lufly!!

Alex - it is some ridiculous amount that will be spent on disposables. I see it, you can either spend on average R600 a month on nappies or you can buy 2 packs of eco nappy liners for R72 and you're sorted for the month!

Simone - I haven't bought all of those items yet because I know people love to buy clothes for baby shower so I gave them the list and hopefully they will sort it out heeehheheh

Baby registry - so I finally get to do my baby registry tomorrow - I cannot wait!!
