Hey lovely ladies
Sal - I have been seeing your messages on my phone and so excited that everything is going well - awesome news!!
Bottles - Connor is definitely not ready to give up another bottle - he has 3 x 150mls a day and he's totally happy. Sometimes when he has less lunch then I give him 175mls.
I can't wait for him to be home with me again - he's been at daycare while I've been doing my teaching practical and his daily sleeping routine is so whack. He is also getting over bronchitis which he caught from someone at school.
Nelria - shoo - you don't waste any time with buying and selling - good on you!! Was thinking the other day about Lea's shoes that you lost - was such a lekker day with you all.
Rescue remedy - I've never given Connor the drops but only because I use the tablets myself so have given him a tablet before. Had to hold off on 9 month vacs because he is sick so will go next week. The government clinic just said measles - can I ask them to do chicken pox as well? coz I don't think that one is on the compulsory list but would be nice - saying that, he was exposed to chicken pox twice before he was 4 months (accidentally) and didn't get it so guess he has antibodies for it already?
Weight etc - Connor weighs a whopping 11.2kgs and is 76cm tall. Doctor and paed say he's absolutely fine and I have nothing to worry about. My dad was a big man (could hardly fit through a door - height wise) so maybe taking after him. The curly top head is definitely from my dad
Moms and babes - any of you ladies do moms and babes classes? I started with Connor at the end of January and it's such an awesome time together. He has learnt so much and is graduating at the end of the month and probably moving to Moms and Tots (even though he's not a year yet).
Missy - feel for you hey! I remember how bonkers I was going when Connor would wake up. He still niggles for a dummy on odd occasions though. Like Nelria said, make sure she gets even protein before bed time because that pushes them through the night. Try something new like maybe a massage after bath? Once I bath Connor and take him to his room to dress him, he doesn't leave. Craig will bring in his bottle while I'm massaging and dressing him. If he niggles at night, I wait for quite a while before I actually get up - soft moaning etc, I just ignore because he goes back to sleep. It does take a while but it will be worth it. We don't even put the baby monitor (receiving side) on anymore because if he really wakes up and cries, I'll hear him and if the breathing alarm goes off I'll hear that too.
Sorry - that was a long blurb!!
Hope you all have a fabulous week.
Lots of love
Eve and Connor
