Hi ladies,

Please help me get my 9 month old lg to sleep.

I have to rock her to sleep and the she wakes up about twice during the night.......To drink but for the past few nights she just cries (teething?)

what must i do if she wakes - how do i get her to sleep all night again. HELP

Sal London has been only having 3 bottles a day since about 5/6 Months. He dropped the 10am on his own. And has a snack then. So only has 5/6am 150ml and then 2/2:30pm 150ml and 6:30/7pm 225ml. He is back to not finishing his 2pm bottle so I reckon he will only be on 2 bottles from about 10 months. Leaves about 50ml behind. So what I will do is by 10 months up his 6am bottle to 200ml and not give him the 2pm. But leave the 7pm at 225ml.

Ladies, when do you plan on dropping more bottles? Shane has 4 x 175ml every day. he eats everything so i was thinking of keeping only 2 bottles from this weekend onwards. 200ml 1st thing in the morning and 200ml before bed. what do you guys think?

oh we must have different makes of rescue drops. Mine doesn't stipulate between baby and adult, it just says 10 drops. I give Shane the strong stuff when he's really bad otherwise I find the Rescue drops do the trick. Remember its a 'build up' thing, so you have to give it to them for about 3 days in a row for the full benefit.

Yes Sal OMW! It worked trust me! I dont ever give to him! But the bottle states 1 drop for babies under 2 years. But then you dilute in a whole bottle of water. He doesnt drink that in one go. So maybe similar? They dont state though how often you can give it.... and for adults you can repeat every 5 minutes. Sheesh! Thinking maybe giving him 1 drop every evening then while his top teeth are coming out. Should be a better option than Vidol and Neurofen right?

LucyV, only 1 drop of Rescue?? you mad? I've been giving Shane 10 drops in his bottle for months, well ever since the teething started. You sure 1 drop does anything?

Shane is 9 months tomorrow. taking him for his injections on Monday, will remember to give him Rescue in his morning bottle.

Ladies, due date is 20 October 2011. Hubbie cant understand why I cant make it to his cousins wedding in CT on the 5th of November. Baby will only be 2 weeks, is he crazy??? Now he wants to know if he can drive us there, for gods sake we live in Durban, has he gone mad?

Anyhoo, morning sickness is not that bad at the mo, as long as I go to sleep at 8pm I'm alright, hee hee.

London turned 9 Months on Monday. Went for 9 Month Vaccines on Tuesday. Got chicken pox and measles! It's not nice - wont lie! But giving London 1
drop of rescue remedy in water helped SOO MUCH!

Basically just fill a syringe with half water and put 1 drop of
Rescue in. Then squeeze into mouth. Not pleasant tasting. Do about 30 min before vaccines. Natural and wont counteract the vaccines like Panado does.

He cried - some blood even was drawn out in the leg (yuck) - was far more hectic than precious injections. But once it was over the crying stopped and he was fine. Had one in arm and one in leg. He is sitting at about 75th percentile for both height & weight.

Apparently they have another BIG growth spurt around 9-10months.... then they pretty much stabilize. Clinic sister was very happy with him - ahead in everything.

Next only at 1 year - when I go for Paed visit and Hep A Vaccine ON HIS BIRTHDAY - LOL! Clinic thought I was cruel to book that day! lol
