Hi there, so I let my boy cry it out last night, it sucked but thank goodness he was so tired it didnt last long. I felt terrible but had to do it and he actually slept well through the night and only woke after 6 this morning. Hope I can carry through with it. Hope you all had a good easter

Hi Tiagosmom

My LG is 10 months and 2 weeks old and i still have to rock her to sleep - its bad hey i cant take it anymore.

She is 8kg and it kills my back. If i put her in the cot and she isnt asleep yet she will move around and play and then stand up so i rather just rock her coz then i know shes goin to sleep.

Hoping it will change soon and she'll just sleep. Funny though that when she wakes to drink i lay her down in cot and feed her and then she will still lay awake after she drank but i refuse to pick her up. i go straight back to bed and then she falls asleep on her own. I suppose coz shes trained in that coz i would never pick her up - if she did stand up i would lay her down again.

In actual fact they only do what they've been taught or allowed to do. LOL

Hi ladies, crazy question but do any of you still have to carry around ur little ones to get them to sleep? I'm at my wits end Tiago is almost 13kg and I'm still doing this and not just for a few minutes he really fights his sleep and usually wakes the minute I put him down. I'm not really good at the whole cry it out thing it usually ends up with us both in tears and me feeling terrible that something might be wrong(ear infection etc) I've taken him to the doc a few times and he's perfect just in a really bad habit. I will never rock my next baby to sleep-lesson learnt. Does anyone else have this problem

Hi ladies

Im still at home with my LG, she will start going to a daycare halfday from the 1st July just so that she can interact with other kiddies (and I can start studying)

Carli is addicted to her milk... she loves loves LOVES her milk!! She gets a 250ml bottel each time she takes a nap. Sometimes she even wants 2! so its:
250ml at 9am
250ml at 1pm
250ml at 6pm
250ml at 10pm (we give her a bottle before we go to bed else she wakes up during the night) during the day I give her water of diluted fruit juice.

Eating is not going so well anymore, she eats anything but will only have like 4 bites then she refuses to eat more.

She does not crawl at all anymore, walks everywhere even started running.... and growing a rather cheecky attitude... I see big problems in the future LOL

Lucy your bday party sounds awesome!! a real cool dude party!

Giggles I think its safe to move to regular NAN or atleast to give it a try and see how he reacts.

Giggles - London was on Nan HA and then we moved him to regular Nan with no problems. So maybe consider Nan 3?

Tiagosmom - yes been back at work since October last year. I am very fortunate to have the most amazing Nanny. London loves her so much that he doesnt even get upset when I leave in the morning lol

Yes I do work - arrrgh! Stayed home for a year when I fell pregnant and wish I had worked until he was born and then stayed home for a year. He stays with his granny during the day and I work until 3 so not too bad.
