Hi Ladies

Have been reading avidly - with no tme for replies.

Kylie is doing great. Just recovering from Chicken pox - besides the fevers it wasnt too bad - but glad its over so I can get some sleep again.

Kylie learned to crawl about a month ago, but just doesnt like it - so strange! Shw will plod along slowing and lets her laziness limit her. But she loves getting up and sanding against the furniture and has been doing this since before she started to crawl.
She eats well - anything and everything. But still hates the bottle and formula so we have her on the cup with juices and teas. We have a constant problem with nappy rash as she is alergic to her own poops and just 30 seconds in a poop nappy and she is ruby red for hours. Potty training wont come too soon!

Silly girl loves her cup of water - which she blows bubbles with - its too cute! She also gets angry if we dont let her feed herself - which is sooo messy, but well worth the entertainment!

I see all the litl Einsteins are growing by leaps and bounds! So nice to see the progress!

ps. sandra - yes it is itchy and uncomfortable to scratch (I actually avoid touching it at all cost)

Actually I do have a question - mommies who had c-sections, does your scar itch? Flip it's driving me insane! Not all the time, but it does feel awkward to scratch it?!

Hi ladies,

So nice to see everyone back here!

Nelria - nope Alex is also only at the beginning phases of crawling. Skipped sliding around on his tummy and has been rocking on all fours and does go forward albeit slowly. He is going further every day though. I set little targets for him to get to - usually tv remotes or building block towers or anything I'm eating/drinking at the time.

Gaynor - how's the search going? How bad are recruitment agencies? It feels like they're doing me a favour...it was so different in the UK, there the companies actually fended for you to join them, so different here...very disappointed. Also agents promising the world and then never hear anything back from them. I started feeling that I wasn't worth 2 cents rubbed together.

BUT...I finally had an interview at Ackermans on Monday which went really well. Going to do their psychometric tests tomorrow - fingers, toes, ovaries, everything crossed...please think of me!! Really really really really want this one!

I thought Alex had dropped his 10am bottle, but he wanted it again yesterday and today so I've brought it back. Only giving smaller amount of mls (like 75 - 100ml) and then a little snack. Feeding & Baby Sense says they drop it between 8 - 9 months. I'm going on his cue though, he wasn't finishing any of his bottles so thought he wanted to drop it. Went well for 3 days but now he wants it again, so he can have it. Little sausage.

Eating is going...ok. I won't say he is a happy eater - like he eats, but it takes a whole lot of coaxing to get him to open his mouth. It takes forever to feed him and definitely not my favorite time of day. Oh well.

Sal - happy humping. It will be the month that you think nothing happened and then voila, a little baby growing again. We decided to wait until next year November. 7, yes 7, of our really close friends are getting married from now until then AND DH's parents are turning 60 and want to take us all on a cruise from Miami next November! So I'm not pregnant or breastfeeding then...I want to chillax. Perhaps there we'll start making babies again. A cruise baby - yeah!

Other than that, nothing much to report. I'm doing weighless and trying to do exercise 4x a week and am 2kgs below pre-pregnancy weight. Only took bloody 8 months. Sucks not having sugar and sadly had to let my glass of wine a night go - my favourite thing...but if I want to get back into my work clothes, I really needed to shape up. But it doesn't matter though, I've lost everywhere but my freaking tummy - still looks like I'm 4 months preggers...!

Anyway, nice to hear from all of you again. Keep it up!!!

Hello Ladies

Ethan will be 8 months tomorrow... 1 tooth 2nd one on its way very soon... he is Crawling.. Holding on to furniture to walk... standing on his own already quite alot now... he gets excited :woohoo: cos we get so excited when he just does it out of nowhere ...
He Says Dada, Mama, Baba & Nana and loads of screaching high pitched noise at times ( think he's finding his voice LoL)
He has a bit of a runny tummy 2nd day now... i'm hoping its only because of the teething.

He still wakes up for 1 feed @ 3am  in the morning ( mommy gives tea) then sleeps till 7am.

I am currently job hunting:(
But still enjoying every moment that I spend with him

HUGS & KiSSes To All of You xoxo

Ethan Luke was born on 9th June 2010

Hi Moms,

With Chloé everything is going great. She still sleeps from 7pm - 6am. She has her two bottom teeth, but another two is breaking through. She crawls like crazy, stands up against stuff and even manages a step or two while holding on. She eats anything and everything. If she can pick it up she eats it, even grass. This morning I made her 9month appointment at the paed. It is on the 17th of March.

Hope all of you have a lovely day.
