How much of the drops do you use?

I know this is a bit late...
Reuteri drops are a specific probiotic. a study was done in italy that found that colic symptoms in babies that had a normal delivery and were exclusivelt breastfed were reduced by 95% within 28days and improved by 50% within the first week of daily dose.

they woprked for me and cant do any harm!!

Took james for his 6week injection as well yesterday and he is not a happy baby. woke up 2 hourly last night and he has a mild temp this morning. gave him some calpol, but he is def still more irritable than usual!!
must say though i went to the state clinic and i was quite impressed!

While I'm spamming the forum I just want to add that I finally got the go-ahead from the gynae... So I drove for the first time in two months. It was scary but oh so liberating. Felt like a bit of a granny and only went to Baby City, which is about two mins from my house, but still...

One frantic call to the paed on his cell later... He checked out the umbilical hernia last week so he knows what it looks like, and he said if it's just the tip of it, if it's not hard when you push on it and if it doesn't seem to be causing her discomfort when you touch it then it should be fine. But although she was a bit constipated yesterday she has made two rather explosive khaki-coloured poohs today. He says I must just watch it and if anything changes I must bring her in. Thanks Meags, I feel better now!

also, you are the mommy. and if you feel uneasy or worried, follow your gut instinct and get it checked

is it dark purple??
Watch if she has a stool for the day.
If not, take her to the paed.
Hernia's can strangulate (meaning something inside gets twisted and poor blood supply in the area) so then she would need surgery.

But if it's really only noticable to you (the purple) wait it out for the day. If it's really quite dark and no stools, take her to the paed

Meags, while you're online, the umbilical hernia's gone a bit purple. Should I panic? She's not crying excessively or anything.
