Newborn and baby advice

Crazylove , I apply the arnica gel before hand but have not done it afterwards , maybe I must also do that after her bath tonight.

Ai this creche thing is really hard ,but I know she will be in good hands.I think it is much harder for us as moms.We get to know our lo's while they are still in the womb and then we meet them in person and get so use to spending every second with them and then comes that horrible day where we have to go and drop them off for someone else to look after.its heartbreaking but i'm holding her as much as I can now and telling her about school and that she will be okay , just hard to keep the tears back....but like most of us I have to work to give her the best possible life.

took my lb now 15 wks for injections as well,what is do is apply arnica oil on the sore areas afterwards(sister at the breastfeeding clinic gave me the advise) and it seems to work.he is not so fussy afterwards.

ladies you are all brave that took your kids to the creaches already. i am getting seperation emotions and its getting worse now that my son is rejecting the bottle and dummy.
going back to work end of the month and feel clueless.

he is still a fussy sleeper and we battle with the day sleeping but is very peace full at night. the night feeds is now just one.
i am also using reutri drops and it is making him sleep peacefully at night.

was told that i can intro rice cereal,any of your ladies started with the rice cereal?
please let me know

Well we are not having a good day today , took Liebe for her vacc's , she gave one big scream for each injection and then she was quiet and she fell asleep and slept until after 2 but since then she has woken up and since then she been screaming.I have no idea what to do , I gave her some Calpol but it doesn't seem to work.

I enrolled her at the creche today , must say I'm proud of myself because I thought I would cry and then I left her there for and hour as I had to get a haircut.Cried when I drove off but doing it has made more more at ease with the fact that I will have to leave her there in two weeks time for an entire day.I wish I could explain to her that i'm just going to work and will be back in the afternoon and I want her to understand that but how do I do it.

Des,I've heard about the emla patches but have never tried it.The nurse that gave LIebe her vacc's today was so quick in an out.

Gosh Creches already... The idea of leaving James anywhere is too awful for words:( I guess I'm lucky to be able to work from home, but will need to start looking for a full time maid/nanny who can watch James when I am back seeing patients - especially early mornings when I have babies in the hospital that need to be seen!. I had hoped to use my current maid because she used to work as a nanny and is great, but unfortunately she cant do it anymore.

I need to start introducing James to a bottle this week so that he takes it when I go and watch some of the football matches that I have tickets to. Feeling quite anxious about it and not looking forward to expressing - what a mission!!!!

Relief, finally.

I got reuteri drops and the pharmacist also recommended hyospasmol syrup for her. They have worked wonders. She is sleeping again, even better.

I used reuteri drops the previous week but I think they stopped being effective because I travelled with them not being refrigirated.

She wakes up to nurse and sleeps soon after, more active at night but no longer crying hysterically. At night she sleeps better if she shares my bed and only a few minutes if in her carry bag.

I am less stressed now. Hey, but those drops are expensive and do not last for long.
But, anything for my baby.

@Desiree - I have been using it since Friday evening... I have the mixture not the drops, do you have the drops? there is quite a bit of alcohol in though...

@Pinky - I only give it to Connor in the late afternoon and at bedtime, that seems to be his most difficult time ... How long have you been using it?
