Zulu - you have bactiria in your stomact thats function is to help you digest and when you get sick and take an antibiotic it kills all the bacteria not just the harmful bacteria. This is why when your doctor put you on antibiotics they normally recommend to you to eat yoghurt or take pro-biotic tables to replace the good bacteria.

Not dure how you give Reuteri to a baby, but for adults its a tablet.

Is it given daily, if so, how? i mean is it mixed with something or given as it is.

@Jacadebra - hey lady!! nice to see u here & CONGRATS to Lia's 4 months!! Time really has gone quickly - it seems like just yesterday when all our babies were only a few weeks old..our precious little bundles are getting big!!

@Bronz - what bottles are you using? perhaps try a different bottle and teat? I dont really have experience with breast & bottle after 4 weeks....maybe one of the other mommies can offer better advice, but maybe Graeme would prefer a different teat = I know in the beginning, when I was breastfeeding and gave Connor the bottle, he didn't like Nuk AT ALL, so I tried Tommee Tippee and he took to them very well & we've never looked back.

@Bundle of Joy - Luke is sleeping very well, lucky lady and he's at such a good weight = let us know what he now weighs at 16weeks, Im always interested in hearing what the other babas are weighing.

@Adri - you're lucky to be going back to work in September only, means you can be home with baba through this horrible cold weather, I dont like having a baby in this cold weather - BRING ON SUMMER!!

Connor is doing a little better and had a better nights sleep last night, shame his nose is still a little stuffy but I've been using Sister Lilian's "muco care" and Sterimar and it seems to be finally working now...shame, he's been stuffy this whole week.

Good Morning Ladies.

I am on the verge of pulling my hair out. Graeme will not take the bottle. This is after 2 nights of taking formula in a bottle. Now he flat out refuses and gets himself worked up into a state if he is hungry when we try and if he is happy then he just 'chews' on the teat.

So I figured it was the formula since he took the bottle and we bought a breast pump. Same thing, would not take it. So now I have a breast pump and a tin of formula. Please any ideas? (Oh I have not been giving him the bottle hubby has been.)
