Bronx I pd R505 for the 2 injections pvt. There is a shortage of the rotavirus drops. This was at Copperfield Clinic in Claremont.

I would prefer to exclusively breastfeed. I thought it was a growth spurt but it's been happening since saturday and i don't think a growth spurt lasts that long? Well at 6 weeks he was 5kgs and his birth weight was 3kgs so he's actually doing very well on breastmilk. I feel like i'm producing less milk now because my breasts don't get a full as they used to. Could it be because he's drinking so often that there isn't enough time for milk to be produced? Sorry for asking stupid questions, i'm just not sure if i'm starving my baby.

Vash, that's exactly what I thought and I started topping up with formula. The nice thing about topping up is that it stretches the feeds to three or four-hourly. But the problem is that it can bugger up your milk production so that you produce less. Emily is three months old and I've been doing it like that since she was born. The theory is that if your baby's on track growth-wise then he's getting enough milk from you. Breastmilk digests quickly. Maybe your little one's going through a bit of a growth spurt?

Thanks. I do try to feed him again. Sometimes he will drink like he is starving and other times he will drink a little and then stop swallowing. I've tried giving him a dummy but he doesn't suck on it, he tries to chew it. I feel like my milk is not enough because now i'm feeding him sometimes every hour so not sure if i should start topping up with formula.
