Newborn and baby advice

Hello Ladies,
Been hectic! Just popping in to say hi!
I did BLW with my son - started solids at 6 months and he never did any purees at all. He was just under 10kg's at 6 months on breastmilk alone and didn't need anything more - with BLW they actually get very little in at first but once they do, I think it is a great way to introduce food. He has a great appetite now and eats a wide variety of foods - he could feed himself with a spoon (messily) by 10 months too. Will gladly answer any questions anybody has on the topic.

Im very interested to know how Connor will adjust to food, etc - but, will wait until 5 months or so....might try a little cereal beforehand to see how he likes it but only after Connor has been evaluated by the Clinic Nurses at his 4 month vaccinations next week.

Yip 5-6 months is fine to start solids.
Des, I know of the BLW from Marijke!! But it sounds great and I think it's a very clever way to get babies to feed themselves, stimulate the fine pincer grasp and eat until they are full.
with regards to not using pureed food, I'm not sure what to think about this honestly!!
