Just a quick question. When you gave birth what were you wearing? Do you get a hospital gown/dress or your own?

Just wanted 2 say hope u ladies give birth during the day the day shift has such great nurses lol maybe i'm being biased! Look out for the delivery nurse sister chetty nd nurse nelly they were my favourite:-) take advantage of them bathing nd dressing baby but ask them to feed baby yourselves if u gonna bottle feed. That way u can bond with baby!

i was gonna bring x1 pair of PJ's.

Oh one more thing i asked what to bring.

They said a pair or 2 of pjays. The first night after delivery you will need a pair as you will be bleeding heavily. Then during the day you can wear your comfy clothes.

For baby, atleast four receiving blankets, 4-5 outfits, a warm blanket(for going home), nappies(a packet). Dont bring any feeding things for baby.

And then the rest of the stuff that you will need for your stay.

I have 2 authorisations for 2 gynaes- I will get an authorisation for this one too if need be. I want to be covered

I also thought about that when i got home Imagine enjoying the room then having to pay the bill

I will ask again when i go back, but when i asked the lady she insisted that only the netcare hospitals do that And she was saying if i find her she will put me in my own room not at the skwatta camp
