Why do u need 5 copies of the U1.4. Does ur gynea need to fill all 5 copies out, one per month or can they just leave dates blank and u can do it..what is it for...

Wow Newbie that is big. Our LG was only 1.033 at 27 weeks. But she has grown on ave 218 grams a week since then. Her head and tummy measurements showed her bigger but the dr said the most accurate is her femur and that showed her weighing 2.126

I also have the U1.4 which you need 5 copies of. The dr fills in the first after baby is born. I think the others go to them on a monthly basis.

vickyvdw - yes spoke to our antenatal teacher and she said they can give u something before hand and u get pain medication afterward. Although its safe for baby, it all does go into the little ones system. But she did say its no point u being a nervous wrek before hand for baby either...

Baby moving was def a weird experience.. weird, a little uncomfortable, but def worthwhile

naomicee - goodluck with ur app.. hope he gets better soon..sorry to hear about ur sister. I have 2 friends with HIV, very sad, and looking at them you wouldnt even know they were infected. Anyhow the one past away last year, quite suddenly.. But she refused to live on antiretrovirals.. not sure how to spell it. The other friend has been on medication and he has lived happily for the last ten years... very sad... Its a terrible desiese and sometimes peoples ignorrance gets to me.. But in cases like ur sister, thats terrible..

As for UIF, thanks I called them and they said I mst complete the UI2.3, UI2.7, UI2.8 and UI19, is that all or is there more. Apparently even though I was retrenched they said I can claim as I have been working for more than a year since.. Thanks goodness...

Oh wow, glad ur LG is doing well, she is big and glad u can do a trial labour with epi and take it fm there.. Keep us posted.. Out LG was also big, 1.2kgs at our 23/24 week scan I think, she we will see on Tuesday.. eeek.

Hi ladies

Regarding the bleeding. With a c-section they do a D&C before the close you up so you def bleed far less. You will use the maternity pads for maybe 5 days and then can move onto the smaller pads. You can't use tampons until your 6 week check up because of the risk of infection.

My appointment went really well yesterday. At 32 weeks our LG is 2.126kg's. Dr says this is on the large side as you expect a baby to be at the most 2kg's at 32 weeks. We discussed natural and he is happy for me to do a trial labour and has no issues with me using an epidural if I feel I want one. He says we will only make the decision at 36 weeks though cause if baby looks like she will be over 3.4kg's he won't allow me to go natural and he will also check my cervix at that point. He will also not let me go past my due date and will not do an induction, he says that 80% of all inductions land up in c-sections. We see him again at 34, then 36 weeks. So I will know which option we are going on 9th June.

Newbie - I got such comfy pants at Edgars in Jan and asked hubby to stop by and get the same again, sounds like the same as the ones you are talking about. Look so lovely and tailored on the leg, but have the most awesome comfy thick elastic. So he comes home with 2 extra pairs last night, same lable, same style everything, but when I put them on this morning, they fit nothing like the other pair (which i wore yesterday), they are tight and lower cut and not nice at all!! O shucks late for a meeting!! Chat later!!

Guys, my son's appoitment is now at 11:00,I'll leave just after 10, then I'm going home.I am tired...well the doctor had a brief discussion with her, well even though she wasn't nice about it, at least she explained to her that the husband also needed to be treated and that she should use condoms.I just want to let her heal and relax first then bring the subject up again.She is such a lovely employee, I'm even considering asking her to work for us full time.She's been with me since last year Dec, and I have no complaints.With regards to HIV, we do talk about it, she knows about it

.Her older sister has it, and also I lost my big sister to the the virus in 2008.She was married to a loser,who kept on cheating on her and she wouldn't listen when we told her to leave him, and we had no clue! she just started getting sick, and a few weeks later she passed away.With the grace of God, all is going well, the kids live with my mom, and we are ok.
