sori about the tonsilitis/flu, my Dr said we are more vulnerable to infection now bcos of the reduced immune system in preparation for labour. hope you get better soon.

my flu is much better, even had some energy to "surprise" DH with some romance this morning. shame poor man has been ok without it for a while now, just thought lets enjoy one last time b4 the 6weeks break

wanna relax also today. my father-in-law had to leave today, but MIL stayed to come help with the baby. He (FIL) was so sad that he's leaving without having seen our LG, so sweet.

anyway, the waiting seems to go on forever . . .

Morning all your gorgeous girls..

Well I am up at 3am this morning, still cant sleep and feel like shit. Lol it seems I might have tonsilitis, or flu, my thorat is killing me.. ouch.. Seems I kept it at bay throught the whole pregnancy, however with all my stress about going in tommmorow for the c-section and not sleeping well, things have finally caught up with me..

Well on the bright side, I am going in tommorow at 6am, perhaps after my c-section gynea can put me on something to clear whatever this is, up quick, quick!!!

Wow can you believe this time tommorow I will getting ready to leave to the hospital... I am a bundle of nerves and excitement.. and feeling very emotional.. being sick doesnt help too much...

Anyhow here is the list again of soon-to-be-mommies. eek we almost all there, might all pop this week.. lol

AFM, didnt get to have the romantic weekend as planned.. Oh well.. Fri night had my brothers fiances b-day party, got home at about 10pm, was so exhausted.. Sat woke up with this flu/tonilitis and told my hubby, go play golf!! He was happy as he thought he couldnt this last weekend, however I was feeling awful and didnt see the point in him sitting here miserable with me... Anyhow I slept for about 2 hours and then dosed myself up with vita-c and a panado, and drank lots of water and gargled with some antiseptic mouth wash..
Anyhow as u can imagine, no sex or romantic lunches.. oh well.
Going for breakfast at my mum this morning and then to the shops, just to get the last few items (only 3 things), then back here to relax..

I will see if I am able to be a little romantic later, although its diff when u feel like death warmed up

Patty - Hey girl, shame thinking of u, hoping LO comes soon.. Keep us posted.. I also hope the BF goes well, I am a bit nervous about it..

Girly - congrats girl, wishing u a speedy last stretch, it does feel like it takes forever..Thanks about the sleeping tabs, my gynea said I cant take anything.. lol what is the name of the sleeping tabs. I couldnt sleep in the beginning and now the last 3 weeks have become diff.. oh well, just one more night, thereafter I have a reason to be up at strange hours. Is this ur first child.. btw

Dee1302 - I have 6 nursing bras and lots of pads.. Hope I dont ever experience mastitis, my mum did with me and she said its the worst ever. I have got a breastpump so if I feel too engorged, should I just use that??
Goodluck for Wednesday, it is so nerve wracking, I am terribly nervous of the whole procedure.. Trying to rationalise everything..Your LG will be fine without you, however I know what you are talking about.. I feel like that over my animals and my hubby, going to miss them terribly..

Vicky, reading your mastitus exp was like reading my very own life a yr ago LOL that was exactly how I was feeling, and yes I got anti biotics from the dr, but eventually what helped was the expressing of the milk. I was like a cow on steroids hey Producing much more milk than baby was drinking. I have already taken my breast pump out and tested it to see if all is still in working order Ladies make sure you have enough nursing pads and bra's... as these will be your favourite things for the 1st few months

My last appointment was y day, and also, no internal done by gynae. Everything was fine tho and baby coming in at 3.3 kg's... dr said we looking roughly at a 3.1 kg baby.... so I am happy I need to be at the hospital at 5am on wed morning...... caesar is scheduled for 7h30... eeekk I am starting to get nervous now as well

Ash - hope this weekend brings you into labor LOL

Newbie - I know how you feel hey.... I was also thinking about doing something special for hubby, but having a LG at home doesnt make it easy But I did say that we will be spending the entire weekend together as a family of 3.... as this will be the last weekend as a family of 3

Oh and I sorted out my ID yesterday - thanks goodness! I thought I would just take a chance at home affairs and see how the q's look and lo and behold there was no q! I was in and out in about 15min So I am now legally Mrs Peters Lol

Also had a mani done yesterday and Monday go for my pedi....

Also wanted to let you know that with my 1st pregnancy I also struggled to sleep.... it was really bad.... and I worked up till 2 days before I gave birth. This time round tho, I am up between 5 and 6 and cannot seem to sleep during that hr... its really weird. I am starting to worry about small things, like how my LG will cope without me for a few days, and how she is going to react to LB, etc... I am more worried about her than anything else.....

Hope I havent left anyone out.....

It seems the last stretch is the longest. I'm 34 and a half weeks now and wish I was 38 weeks already! So reading your stories gives me some hope.

Newbie - I finally got some quick acting sleeping pills from my gynae. I couldnt take the wide awake at 2am thing anymore!

so many people are complaining about BF being sore or not getting LO to latch properly I hope it will go well for me also.

AFM I went for a check-up and NST yesterday, gynae is happy with everything. my tummy is having stronger Braxton Hicks, which are more uncomfortable than sore.
did an internal, not dilated yet and I also havent lost my mucous plug.
Im now 40weeks (well tomorrow) and no sign of my LG making an appearance
Hubby's parents are here and it seems everyone is stressed by the waiting. Gynae wil induce on tuesday morning if LG is stil not here.
so this is last weekend without LO

Morning girls, still cant sleep, been up since 2am... Really getting annoyed, I am exhausted.. Nt sure why this is happening.. I know its only 2 more sleeps till baby arrives, not sure if it is just nerves or body preparing itself for sleepless nights.. ANyhow hope everyone else is doing well..

Hey girls

Wow what a day, slept from 9pm - 1am and that was me.. was exhausted.. But I managed to sleep for another 45min this morning. Anyhow thought the cleaning bug wouldve hit me as you all know I am OCD when it comes to cleanliness.. Anyhow I am just so lazy.. Anyhow I went for a pedicure and then to lunch with my mum.. Was nice..

I havent felt my LG move much, she has been quiet today..

Anyhow tonight I am off to a family dinner, my brothers fiances b-day.. And I told hubby I am very tired, so I said 9pm the latest I need to be back home.. To think its my last weekend being without a baby... WOW!!!

I have been quite sore and have been experiencing mild period pain like symptoms.. I have increased discharge, but no mucous plug or show yet!!! oh well..

I have decided that since I havent had sex for almost one and half months, I need to put out this weekend. I have been doing hubby other favours, but since he wont be getting any for a while, I decided to go for a nice cosy lunch tommorow and come home and have a romantic afternoon in bed.. even though I am really not up for it and feeling huge and sore.. I must.. I also told my family and friends, I just want to be alone with hubby this weekend. I think I need to pamper hubby a bit as well. a foot massage, and lots of love, shame he has really been great throughout the preg and I am very lucky. I havent shown him how much I appreciate everything and I think its time.. Anyhow enough of my rambling, just wanted to share...

Have any of you girls been feeling strange, like not urself. Well the last two days thats been me.. weird and very emotional,,

Also at my gynea app on Wednesday, just went for a monitoring session and urine test. I ahve no more protein in my urine, BP is back to normal and all was fine.. Its amazing how much work can make u stress..

naomicee - Congrats again girl.Sounds like u had a gr8 experience, except for tearing.. At least u will have a speedy recovery and baby is a nice weight..

Dee1302 - thanks for the info on the c-section. I have told them I dont want morphone afterward for the pain and would rather have voltaren injections. I dont like feeling all wasted, and dont want to be all over the place.. it will freak me out..
Lol when will you get round to doing your ID.
Hope ur little one gets better. And I also spoilt myself today.. So feel much better..

ashbabe - glad all is ok, wow you have been through the wars with ur LB.. lets hope the next time u go to hospital, you will come home with your LB.. Wonder if you might give birth before me.. lol, keep me updated and goodluck.. Get lots of rest...

vickyvdw - i know, just 3 more sleeps, wow I am getting so nervous.. Also the lady that came here brought her sister. It wasnt too bad they stayed for an hour and just wished me well. It was a bit weird, but thankfully not too painful having to make conversation with them..Shame I totally understand why you wanted the gynea to do an internal, I have been feeling the same way..
Also I havent lost my muscous plug, keep waiting for it, but nothing yet.. I am very nervous aswell, sorry for TMI, but my stomach has been working overtime... It must just be nerves..

So its me next, wow I am so nervous and excited..

Ooooh hubby just came home and guess what, he bought me a gorgeous gown fm the hospitality shop, its so soft and percale bedding 300 thread count for our room.. nice..
