Hi guys

Glad to see you guys slowly making a come back!!! I've missed you guys soooo much, welcome back. I've been chatting in the ladies corner with some other mommies trying to get rid if the baby fat. It's going too slow for my liking.

It sucks really that we have to work and leave our kids at home. Well I started working in at the end of Aug already, i didn't have much of a choice. Baby is fine, she is such a big girl now, she is now only on formula, and we started her on cereal a while back. She is doing really well.She is such a screamer though! She screams and yells for attention and is forever smiling!

Things will get better in time you guys...

I am just hanging there today I am so sleepy I just wanna go home and sleep,the worse part is this weekend will b in jozi so u can imagine won't b able to rest monday we coming back and thursday again traveling back.

Hopefully will rest 2mrw but eish is hectic weekends for everyone so it's really difficult.Lg sleep bteween19.00 & 20.30 wakes up between 01.00 & 03.00

Maybe we should start a chat in the middle of the night lol

Its nice knowing I am not alone.... and yes I was in that same boat, tried pigeon, nuk, and tommy tippee...and eventually he took the Avent bottle.....I gave him a break of about 2 weeks and then started with the bottle again, and now he seems fine with it.....thank goodness.

And yes, also sleeps every 2 hrs, anything from 30min to 3 hrs....but averages 30-45min.......

Where are all the LO's when you ladies are at work? Nanny's, daycares, etc?

Dee good to hear from you. u r not alone, my LG sleeps @ 18:00 then up @ 22:00, 02:00 & 05:00. Then every hrs or take 30min naps.
I gave up on de bottle, tried Nuk Avent Pigeon etc & she still refused. So she uses drinking cup.
LOL at ur LG trying to carry her young brother who's almost as big as herself

Hello everyone!

Yes I have been very quiet, but only cos everyone else has been ;-( How is everyone?? I am sure things must be getting a lot easier with LO now??

Well so much has happened on my side.......we moved house 2months after Thade was born, and it was not as bad as I thought

So we are finally settled, little Thade is 2 months old and I need to start planning a party for my LG who will be 2 in Feb I go back to work 20th Jan........and I must say, I am quite excited to go back ....
I know that probably sounds horrible, but I am so bored at home, and need some adult stimulation. We do not live in the same city as our folks, so I am alone most days, and everyone else is at work....so yes, it is quite boring......however the festive season is upon us and the entire family will be joining us for Christmas so I am very excited about that

I am still BF and FF twice a day.....just to get him use to formula and the bottle....because we had some huge issues with that in the beginning......LO outright refused the bottle, and took me 3 brands and hundreds of rands later for him to finally take it

His sleeping is still really bad though! he will go to bed between 7.30 and 8.30 but will be up by 12'ish and then again 2'ish and 4ish, and from there its literally every hr until 7ish....so yes running on little sleep but I am so use to it, doesnt even phase me anymore....my body has adjusted it seems lol

luckily for me LG's sleeping is a lot better through the night and besides the normal terrible 2 antics she gets up too, she's very sweet towards her brother I cannot wait for them to be able to entertain each other.,.....right now she still needs constant supervision when playing with her little bro

Other than that, things are going well.....

the baby expo in CT was not too bad....must admit tho we only went to see barney for my LG, who was beside herself with excitement

I got LB a cute bather which can be put on without a nappy because it traps everything inside

So how are the LO's growing? I must admit my LB is huge lol 2 weeks ago he weighed 7.1kg's so we ina about a week or so, he would be too small for his 3-6 month clothing Luckily, edgars has a 6-9 month range, because the b6-12 mo is still way too big for him. I must say it is quite strange having a baby that grows so quickly lol I have to get him to wear his outfist quickly before it gets too small!

My LG was is now 21 months weighs 10kg's shame so here little bro is just 3kg's lighter they are on the same nappy size already lol

Would like to BF up till 6 months though and then see from there....

How are your LO's doing, their sleeping and eating patterns? I am the only one still not getting enough rest>?? lol

@Jo_C is not easy being back @ work just hang in there,the first week is the hardest but as u say only three weeks to ur leave then everything will be okay.
