Morning ladies,
I am sick in bed - sniff, sniff. I feel so frot, and achy, had the worst nights rest ever last night, so have decided to spend the day in bed.
We had a lovely week end, glad the bulls won and then had my stork tea on Sunday afternoon, which was a real surprise. I really thought there would be something small around first week July, but Sunday afternoon - SURPRISE!! Hubby was so sweet, he arranged for the ladies to have High Tea at the 12 Apostels. I've never had high tea anywhere, but it was lovely and all the ladies said that felt so sophisticated and spoilt ( a real treat). Me a the baba got so spoilt, it was lovely.
I'm gonna catch up on everyone's new and then I'm getting back to bed:
Ash - so glad you are home and both of you are well. Follow Dr's orders and stay in bed, getting rest. Chloe is picking up on your fears, she is scared, cos you are. Shame man, the poor girl. I guess all you can do is constantly assure her that you are well, tell her that her brother is lazy and doesn't like it when you walk around too much, so you need to rest. You 2 can have nice cuddle sessions in bed and read stories to each other. Hope hubby's learnt how to cook, else nows the perfect time to start!!
Sindy - O Man that is too cute!! and so perfect!! so jealous - Hubby and I (well hubby mainly) have kinda decided not to have one, as we would have to pay the full amount. His opinion is that we're gonna meet her soon anyway... well if I could I would sneak off and have one done. I know if I told him I really wanted one, he would cave, but I also know he's right, we could spend the money on something more needed, but o my... when I hear you ladies having gone, or see the pics, they are all just too cute to resist!!
Mjabu - lovely looong week. B Day tomorrow - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
Newbie - people can be so unkind when they have personal agenda's, so sorry you are going through a hard time. I have been treated for depression and bi-polar for the last 4 years. I have also been off my meds for more than a year and being monitored and assisted by a great team. My psychologist has been great and met with her about 2 weeks ago (I suffered a bad case of Post Natal depression after Ethan, so we are watching me carefully), she wants me back on my meds for the last 4 weeks of my pregnancy and has explained the risks etc, so hubby and I need to make a decision, but the reason I am telling you all of this is basically to let you know that the risks of using anti depressants during the last trimester are minimal and if you discuss these with your health care professional and understand what they are, this may be a good option for you. Shame man. Look after yourself and take care.
OK ladies - hope I haven't left anyone out. I am gonna warm up in a nice hot bath (just bone cold at the moment) and then am going to crawl into bed!!
Have a fab day. Chat soon!!
