PAMPERS JULY 2010

Ladies, dnt knw if u wil get this and i am on my phone. i have been in hospital since wed! my water broke. they have me under control now and dont have contractions. i am hoping to go home 2day feeling very down and all. it all started with pain in my vaj ja i thought jst normal sharp pains, was told 2 come into maternity ward, came in and its been none stop. i just want to go home this has been scary and i am so glad baby still in and doing gr8. plse pray 4 me.

naomicee: Apparently your "milk" can come in anytime from 28 weeks but mostly as soon as the placenta is out it takes between 2-3 days for the milk to come in, prior to that it's collostrum (sp)

Grreat to hear some of you mommies also snore, I also snore APPARENTLY, BUT then again he snores too!! LOL funny how he manages to sleep through my snoring, but oh my goodness, he keeps me awake all the time!! to be honest with you, I don't think I snore...he's probably just saying it

Juandre, I keep a bottle of water next to the bed, I am forever thirsty! I got such a nice surprise today, a lady from my previous company called me today to come over, so i thought what the hell, let me just go! Another babyshower, 2 in one day! So nice, I got tons of pink!!!!

I didn't breastfeed with my son, was by choice but now I definitely wanna do it!! when do I get milk, I'm 34 weeks today?

Newbie- I am glad that I am not the only one. Last week I snored myself awake too... I have some illian at home, will try that. Find I am so thirsty in the morning from breathing through my mouth.

I am working at home tomorrow. My feet are sooooo bad today. This swelling is rediculous.

Hey ladies, been home all day, been packing my hospital bag,eek its alot to pack..
Anyhow I am in such a foul mood, its really annoying, dont feel like work or anything..

naomicee - yay, leave, sounds fun to me right now. Enjoy! And nice one on the voucher for baby shower...

csejake - enjoy ur 4D scan. I believe bf is a personal choice, do whatever u are comfortable with.

vickyvdw - congrats on babies weight! Just think positive..As for the traveling, if u not comfortable, just tell ur boss.. I have told mine as I travel alot too. But at the end of the day, do whatever u are comfortable with.

Jo_C - thanks for understanding, I hate the blocked nose..I also have blood in my nose. As for nasuea, who knows, perhaps cause I am special... I also dont know where ASH is, hay Ash pls let us know all is ok.

Fay - shame about the heartburn I had that the other day. I am also suffering badly with BH.. ouch and they are sore

Juandre_N - i am using Illiadin, it helps, just one in each nostril at night. I dont use it in the day, but i have to sleep. I snored myself awake this morning, and hubby was hosing himself, haha i was not impressed.

Hi ladies,

So busy at work....

I can't wait to go away tomorrow. I plan on just relaxing!!!
Last night I rolled over onto my back and I got an elbow from DH as I was snoring.
I am really battling with my nose being blocked at night.

Csejake- The choice to breastfeed or not is very personal and if people say anything you are going to have to either ignore them or come up with a funny come back like: I have a rare desease where if baby suckles my breasts will explode (this is one that our antenatal instructure gave us) I am not sure how long you are going to be home on ML but if you would like to try feed, feed until about 2 weeks before going back and then start weening baby onto the bottle. I only managed 3 weeks BF with my first daughter and she is a very healthy girl, so don't let it stress you.

Vicky- I wouldn't worry about travelling. We are going 200km this weekend. I am just taking my hospital bag with just in case.

Naomi- that is very sweet of the guys you work with. Enjoy spending the voucher!!!

Just got back from my babyshower/ farewell party...great effort for a bunch of men! It was so sweet and becaue they didn't know what to get me, they gave me a gift voucher, at least they didn't give me cash in an envelope!

They got nice platters and t'was short and to the point, you know how men are!

Fay, I was up at 3 times last night to take gaviscon, heartburn is horrible these days.

I'm not going on maternity leave, I'm leaving for good.I was employed on contract and they did'nt renew because our work is done.I am looking forward to lazying around, but knowing me, I'll probably be bored stiff come next Friday!!

I'll chat to you guys later, if Telkom allows, sheesh... they are unbelievable!
