Hi ladies

I will catch up properly later. Just wanted to catch you up on our scan.

All is well with HER! Weighs around 450grams now and all measurements are as they should be. Heart beat is 154BPM.
We will see the fetal specialist in 3 weeks time and back to the gynae beginning of August.
Spoke briefly about wanting natural birth if at all possible. Although they dont really make a commitment one way or another till 36 weeks when they can see baby's weight and how baby is lying etc, he seemed quite supportive of the possibility of a VBAC provided everything is fine.
He will then assess my pelvis shape (if its more tri-angle than rounded then it can make natural birth harder and riskier for vbac) and size, and see if baby is lying nicely. He is not overly concerned about scar tissue as he says experience is proving it hasn't got as much of an impact on vbac as previously thought.
I am just pleased that he didnt shoot it down right away or warn me away with risk factors etc, and that he is willing to play it by ear closer to the time.
So far baby is lying head down and legs up which Kaylee never did. She was always breach. So maybe there's a little chance that I can experience natural birth after all!

Chat soon xx

First angel resting 25/06/2009 stayed with us a short 7 weeks but we still miss you.

Belaine, I found for the first few months you bundle them up so much anyway. I had so many pretty outfits she never got to wear cos they weren't warm enough. So winter stuff is much better buy...in my opinion.

Shrew, G is such a nice size, so glad all is going well. What is up with Rowan, do you still think eye teeth?

Debbie, bloody FS!! People really are insensitive. But I am so happy that the process has started for you and you are getting closer to that Bfp. I'll start saying somes spells so that the witch pitches up for a visit soon. :silly:

KLK, they probably don't really want you to park there. But there is no supervision. I go there often and never see anyone or get questioned or anything. Think it will be fine.
I had loads of pain in the beginning of my pregnancy. It is so scary cos it reminds you of mc pain but it is not!!! All your parts need to grow/ stretch/ adapt etc and it hurts!! You heard her on your machine so try to relax!

Dinky, that is so cool! Good sleuth! We played that attributes game ...it is fun! It is very frustrating having to redo jobs, grrrr.

Hello all!

belaine - my dad is also doing a shoot for us - he is a bit unreliable which is why I booked one too. so nice to feel like you are getting 'sorted' hey!

deb - we can't wait for AF either! Let's hope this FS gets u pg on the first try then u can go back to your normal gynae.

shrew - glad you got to spk to your doc about your previous experience and glad all is well.

lucy - she is such a doll! too cute!

klk - awesome that you are feeling movement. I started feeling the first flutterings around 13 weeks I also didn't believe it til it became a pattern. Emily loved it when I played Buble on the way home from work - it's become a ritual :-)

AFM: so my gut was right. Had my shower on Saturday - it was lovely! My mom and my two friends really went to a lot of effort. DH was supposed to just drop me off but ended up staying  Emily was super spoilt by everyone! Couldn't believe it honestly! One of the friends that organised the shower bought 20 vests and some fabric markers. Each guest got a vest and had to draw something for Emily - so cute! Then they also gave me a list of attributes and I had to choose whether I want Emily to get the attribute from me or DH - was things like dancing ability, cooking skills, organisation skills etc. the person who got the most right was supposed to get a prize but it seems my family and friends know us too well so they were all very close. Then they also made me measure my bump with a piece of string and everyone else got a piece of string, they had to guess how big they thought I was. All in all was a lovely morning! I will post some pics when I get them from my mom tonight. The nursery still isnt finished  DH did the last coat of varnish on the compactum and it dried so strange - think from the cold - that he has to sand it down and do it over...and with our photoshoots and fathers day this weekend I can see it's not gonna happen this weekend...oh well sure we will get there.

Have a lovely week everyone and stay warm!
