Pregnancy after D&C

Girly, unfortunately we had to stop our medical aid. But we have a great provincial.(George) But my gyni dont do work there, and I have never been to that hospital.

My bleeding stopped exactly one week after cytotec.(had to induce mc), but had brown spotting for past week. That turned red today. So its fresh blood. My ob said that I should phone him if bleeding stopped and started again......

Oh, and Im not blaming myself! Was just thinking how I was mc nr 1 since I joined moomies, and all the others that followed me then...... Feels like a bad vibe or something!

Esmari bleeding after a D&C can last 2 weeks, dont know about natural though.
Best is to phone your gynae. He'll check and also feel your abdomen for infection.

Do you have medical aid? A D&C should come out of hospital funds as a day procedure...

Try not stress. I know it sucks. When the bleeding stops you're that much closer to trying again, but try and be patient and take it easy!

Ag flip man, seems like I just started bleeding again. Witch means there is still some tissue left? Right? So now I have to phone ob, go for a scan and prob for d&c. And I dont have money now, as we have to pay the damn tax man R3500!

Noah MOm > Wow ! nasty trip tht was ....I have been lucky with a very supportive Boss & company during my pregnancy ... but some people really act insensitively ... My hubby's boss for example .... can u imagine her saying tht he need not go as there are other people there ... can anyone replace Dad !!

Things are still very uncertain here. I am still waiting for my offer, they keep saying they are still keen and that they are getting it to me but it is taking FOREVER!

I wont be taking any days off. Just have to stop taking progesterone and I will bleed for a while, he says it will be like a heavy period and all will be over with. Might leave early this afternoon though, feeling really tired after this roller coaster ride and my arms look like they belong to a drug addict after all the blood tests over the past few days.

Could do with some extra sleep!

Cath so true what you say. I have come to realise that conception is a miracle, but it doesnt stop there. Carrying to term and having that LO in your arms is as much a miracle. Makes you appreciate it that much more.
And look at how your experience is able to provide comfort for others. That's another miracle not to be taken for granted!

Noah's mom some companies hey! They could've warned you in advance so that you could decide for yourself.
Wow bedrest for 17 weeks is quite hectic! Is there anything else they can do to bring it down? I know certain foods could be avoided, and stress etc.
How is your TTC journey going? Have you gone off the pill now?

Don't feel sorry for me friend. Like Cath says its not the right one - I have to wait for a really tough sticky egg to come along and my prayers will be answered. It will know when the time is right to make an appearance and make DH and I Happy!
