Pregnancy after D&C

Girly I know you're right!! But for now all I want to see is that everything is in the right place. After last pregnancy - going for scan at 6 weeks and there was nothing there - not even a sac - I just need confirmation that everything's where it needs to be!!

But doc said he'll see me every 2 weeks until 12 weeks so that should put my mind at ease if everything's ok on Tues!

It's really tough as the act of taking the meds is that of letting go, and who wants to do that when we want to be pregnant so badly!
I remember even going for the d&c, getting ready, packing my bag all of it, just freaked me out because I was willing my body not to be pregnant anymore by doing that, despite that I'd had a missed MC and baby had been gone for 2 weeks prior. It was really tough and I'll never forget that day as long as I live.
Did you get some pain meds yesterday? Hope you're feeling a bit better today.

Angi hope you got some BD in last night! Yep, increase in CM, if it is watery (clear rather than creamy) and stretchy - like that of an egg white, is the PERFECT time to BD as you are most fertile then.

Re your blood count, its meant to drop as quickly as it rises, so halving every 48hrs. So by the end of this week your body should recognise that its time for a new cycle to start which might take a couple of weeks.
My gynae also suggested waiting one cycle so that my body was back to normal before trying, but this is generally opinion based as some gynaes say you can go for it when youre ready.
For me though, it took about 3 months to get over the emotional hurt, even though we started ttc as soon as we had 1 cycle, every month of a BFN was like losing our LO all over again!
We conceived again on the 4th cycle after the d&c.
The worry of it happening again is totally normal! Most gynae's wont do much unless you've had 2 or 3 mc's. Unfortunately they are quite common and usually just something that went wrong in cell division etc that wouldve been an abnormality had it gone on. Sad I know. I wish no one ever had to deal with it!

When is your next scan? Re the movements I get you! Last week was stressful for me! But she's been quite active again this week
After what happened last year, even though I've passed all the danger zones, I still stress about it, as I'm sure so do all the other girls who are pg.

Sue thanks for asking. Work situation is possibly worse. But I have to pray and leave this one in the Lord's hands, as I cannot see a physical solution to the problem. All I know is that He has placed me there for a reason, and I have to trust Him to see my hearts desires and bless us elsewhere.
Hubby is due to go for an interview next week at a company he's been wanting to work at for years. So praying that that is part of the Lords answer for us.

Lucy on what day do you normally start spotting? It's about now isnt it? I'm still holding thumbs for you girl!

Tracy lol @ the preseed. I only ever used it once. It was too much lubrication for us, and DH didnt like it especially after 2 or 3 days of hard work. But when not TTC, lubricant all the way!

Claire i'm so happy for you!! I'm so glad that everything is ok and that you got to see your lo! Now try and relax and enjoy your pregnancy!

Girly how you doing? Hope work is a bit better!

AFM really sensitive boobies yesterday and today but other than that nothing! I was much calmer after the 3rd blood test but my worries are back!! Hehehe... so nervous when we go for our first scan we won't see anything. But what must be will be and we can't change it.

Claire : PreSeed days are glorious!!!!!
Man, that stuff is the best invention since sliced bread I tell you!
We used it with every BD session from CD8 through to CD13...and I only used max 1.5mg (or whatever the dosage unit is) each time, so I got plenty left
Woohoooo to PreSeed - for anyone that isn't preggies yet, and needs some extra "softness" during the BD marathon, GET SOME!!!
Can't rave enough about it....
But I'm only 4DPO now, so the big test to see if it helped me TTC is still to be carried out...

Girly - It does seem very pretty here but we have been working stupid hours so not really had a chance to enjoy it PLUS it is cold and rainy!! How are you doing, especially on the work front, any joy or decisions?

Hbuzz - I never got anything that was clearly a sac but didn't always have strength to inspect. But I did get spongy bits that were a bit different from clots.

Chan - Glad to hear you are doing well? Are you a little calmer since your last bloods? Thinking of you lots too! How is your daughter these days?

h-buzz - I am so sorry for your loss, it is terrible that any lady goes through a miscarriage ever. Take each day at a time and look after yourself OPK's are known to be unreliable the d&c cycle so not sure if they will work, hey but try you know
