Wow it has taken me nearly 2 hours to catch up. So I will do my best to remember as much as I can.

Schatsie and Betty - I have also been super emotional and teary with DH so I think that must be fairly normal, I even cry and say I know I am being ridiculous but I can't help it. I hope that you feel better soon though.

Kimika - Thanks for the swaddling advice, I hope I manage to figure it out. A skin tag is like a little lump that forms in your skin, and becomes a little bit like a bumpy mole but it is the colour of skin and not darker. Not sure if that explains it. Old people often get them on their necks.

Cath - I am so happy you had a positive experience. I can hear you are glowing through your words!! I hope my c/s stays planned and I too can have an awesome experience. Fx. Please post more pics of W.

Karin - How did you cope through the weekend. Are you feeling a bit better?

Meags -I am so happy that you had such a good heart to heart with DH. I hope it helps you get closer and closer. I always said my first year of marriage was really hard and it just got better and better after that. Don't exactly know why but it just worked out like that. Hope it is true for you to and that you are over the 1 year "worst of it" There are always hurdles in the road but I have found DH and I have got better at working things out. Good luck. Also I hope the time DH is in germany flies by. Can't wait to see the cat pics. Sounds scary!

Misty, Emsmom, Meags and others who commented on in-laws - Thanks for your sympathies!!! MIL and FIL left this morning after 7 days but SIL and 2 naughty boys are here until tuesday (9 days!!!!) So much for the "we are coming to help you!" line. I worked and cooked supper EVERY single night. Was doing 2 loads of dishwasher a day. Plus run ragged trying to protect my belongings. In the last 7 days they have done 2 dishwasher loads that is all. Not one meal was cooked for me, not one counter was wiped down. My couch now has purple crayon crosses all over it (any tips how to get it off?) Oh I could go on and on.... !

Rakker and Schatsie - I love your belly pics

Jessica - I will be thinking of you tomorrow. Good luck and I wish Cath's awesome experience for you. That the slab will at least be warm!!! Hahaha.

Tazzy - Are you still anxious? You have a lovely gynae and are in fab hands. So jealous that you can lie in bed though. Just too sore for me!

Emsmom and Meags - Thanks for the encouragement re things being better without the belly and being able to sleep better etc. Most people are so rude and condescending when I say that I think there is a chance things will be better once baba is here. I actually have to live with that belief to get through the next couple of weeks

Afm - Just want next 2 days to hurry by and hopefully life can get back to our normal routine.
This morning DH and I stayed in bed until 8am (bugger the guests!!!!) and we sang to Tessa and just had such an awesome little time together. Has made today so much more bearable. I even ducked off to have a cup of tea with 2 of my friends!

Kimika I wanted to ask you since I know you had the Strep B swab done...
Was it just a vaginal swab? Cos here they do a vaginal and a rectal swab

Jessica- nearly there then - happy days! And a very big baby predicted...well done.

Emsmom- hope today is less hectic for you, and you get to relax your feet. 4 hours shopping is no fun for a pregnant lady.

Meags- how is the sleeping going? Glad to hear your kitties are settling.

Faw- are you on maternity leave now? Great to hear that you may be having some resting time.

Schatsie - I too have been picking on DH, feeling really bad- we hardly ever fight so it really gets me down. Wonderful that you got to sleep till 12... Can't remember when I last slept late. My LB is usually up by 6 am. I think once or twice has slept till 8. But I am so used to waking up early now that it doesn' t bother me.


Mistymom- great to hear all is still well with you! The CPR course is great to do. Congratulations on wining it! I did one when Matthew was a baby and at least I have slight peace of mind, and kind of know what to do if he gets hurt. Also baby CPR is different to adult. I think St Joey went through that a little bit at the antenatal classes at Milnerton too.

AFM - had a very nice day at friends Lg's third birthday. My turn next weekend.
Got home exhausted and slept for 3 hours, thank you DH for entertaining Matthew. I was suffering from a sore tummy, a bit better today.

Shame Schatsie - don't feel bad. We are pregnant, hormonal and uncomfortable and people just cannot expect us to be 'pleasant' all the time.

MistyMom - the cats are doing much better. Bling seems to have forgotten he can escape...so I really need to figure out how to get that plank of wood secure along the gate - then I think I should manage to keep him in for a while.

DH flew to France and is getting the train to Germany tomorrow. He is staying with his Aunt in Paris. She owns the most insane and horrible cat. I was warned about this cat before I went there once and thought 'ya whatever...how evil can a cat be?'
well...I will scan in a picture tomorrow and show u how evil!!

This cat just attacks out of no where!!!! And it doesnt just attack and thats it. When I got attacked, I literally just turned my back to leave the room and it attacked the back of my leg. I was wearing jeans and boots...wait til you see the damage that cat did to me even through all those clothes!!

So apparently it attacked DH now. I am the biggest cat lover around - but that cat is the devil...

Meags i don't have pain, just feelings of tightness. I am tender in some spots but my son was jumping on top of me most of today. When mY mom got home she had one look at me and said to me, ' looks like you had a very rough day. ' i said you got no idea. Lol. At least he wasn't miserable. I have back ache for a change. Hope the pain goes away for you meags.
Last day of work tomorrow and looks like we will be closed due to the wind so i will probably get to leave work around 2pm.

CathM - seems like you are settling in so nicely! Wow at last a mommy!!! How exciting. THank you for all your wonderful posts and updates (cool that you had your laptop at the hospital!). I dont blame you for just staring at your William all day...I know that i will be the same What a bleesing he sounds!

Faw - so sorry that your ex is causing stress! Not what you need....but it seems that you have chosen the right path, and well done for sticking to it! How is the ear ache?? All sorted I hope!

Kimika - ty for teh heads ups on hormones and moods!! Thank you also fo the boy tip!! Wow so jelous of you girls that have your babies already!! YOur birth story is the best one that i have ever read...so detailed. I also liked the way you did not start it at teyh start of labour, but included the weeks leading up to it. Such a beautiful read! My next scan is Wednesday at 9.30am then 24th March

Schatsie - any news on the parking bay?? Ya i am just exhausted and finished myself (and only 32 weeks!!!) What are these last weeks going to be like? And DH also asked the other day when do we start for number 2! YA i know i feel the same as you, but guess we just have to do it all over again! They say every pregnancy is differnet...so heres hoping! so TRUE what you say...we can listen to all teh advice but when we get home we will do tyhings our way!


Meags - how the cats now? So glad you and DH had a heart to heart...that explains so much! Just how you have been so stressed so has he! Hope he gets the help needed at work...and am sure things will be a littel better now! Wow 80km to hospiatl? that is far! At least you have those people near incase....She may be french but if somebody has to drive me to the hosoital i do not care what language they speak...as long as I get there!

Betty - glad baby is on track and seems that gynae is on top of everythying! Sounds like you have a busy weekend....Ya CT meet still on! Promise we are not ax murderers! Am looking very forward to meeting some ct moomies. The only moomie I have met is Meags, so will be really nice to put more faces to names!

Emsmom - enjoy the picnic tomorrow...sounds really nice! Sounds liek you have had a busy weekend so far....so rest and enjoy tomorrow! is tah what you were dress shopping for?)

AnjeD - wierd re red spots....how are they now? Its so cool when baby is ultra active...i had it the other night and just sat watching for ever....such moments i will miss, but sure been able to see baby will be even better!

KarinM - hope you not getting a UTI! They are awful (had one in my first trimesetr where landed up in hospital on a drip!) Im also a littel naseaus now and then, but luckily nothing like the MS i had earlier on in teh pregnancy! Wow so you booked for the next monday...going to be so cool babies pooping out each week now!

AFM - went to pregnancy month thingy at milnertin medi clinic this am...and won a prize ~(besides my goody bag we all got). Not as nice as schatsie but think very practical...a free course on adult and peadatric CPR and choking! Something i would have probably not done, so happy about that. Am not sleeping well at all wee and heartburn). DH has said that i have also turned into a snooring machine...shame most nights he gives up and moves to teh spare room.

...so sorry have been missing the last few days, time has just not been on my side! i know that I have a long post owing and will get to that shortly! I have been reading the posts the last few days on my BB, but just no time to reply.

DH back yesterday, which is nice....was an exhausting week alone!

OOOh cant wait fr onext week and more babies!!!!!!!!!!
