Evening everyone

Was just wondering if any of you worked until the end of your pregnancy. I want to work until the end of April. Baby is due on 29 April and I don't want all the Easter holidays to fall into my maternity leave...
Also would rather spend the 4 months at home after baby is born. I'm 31 weeks now and have no problems so far with pregnancy.
With Matthew I did take off 6 days before his due date and stayed home waiting for e birth - lol.

I swaddled Matthew when he was little and he loved it! I even wrapped his hands in when he was very tiny. I never knew there were swaddling blanket for car seats- now that is convenient.

Emsmom - have a wonderful birthday celebration with DH.

Meags- hopefully the midwife can help you with some pain relief for your ribs.. Although Tuesday does seem like such a long time away.

Faw- probably a good thing that your work was closed today and you got time to relax..

Hi. We were closed today so i was able to relax and even had a sleep. Feeling very heavy and lots of braxton hicks again.
I asked my mom to buy rescue remedy last night and hope she managed to buy.
My mom called the mjc and spoke to them there and got them to call my husband and tell him to back off.
Going tomorrow for my check up and scan and will tell them about last night. Going to pack my bags tonight. Told my mom i want to give birth and be home 6 hours after the birth if possible so that my husband doesn't get a chance to try swipe baby and ill let him know after that that i have given birth, or may be not bother cos he will stress me out and i need good milk supply.
Im half out of it and my brain not working, so sorry no personals now.

seeing the midwife next Tuesday so will definitely mention the rib pain - maybe she has some secret solution!!

Meags, shame, being sleep deprived and sore the entire time cannot be easy, lets hope M comes a little early. When do you see the midwife again ?

Emsmom, I did put a creme and bio oil mixture on, it helped a bit, but it is still itchy, I am not scratching though. I think that is just it, I don't have major aches and pains and I am not really uncomfy. I will definitely miss being pregnant. The first 16 weeks was really stresful, but L is making up for it now, I just love the alien movements and the fact that she is all mine. I love people touching my belly and my hubby is so loving, caring and helpful. The third trim is absolutely the best for me.

Anje - just dont scratch the sopts and put some cream on - hope that will help it out. You know its sad cause I love being pregnant, and although this has been so much less stressfull than Em's I dont recall being this uncomfy with her. Also just want to be able to exercise and stuff again. I know I'll miss it when I'm not pg anymore.

Meags we got married at Delvera - was also VERY hot - it actually rained a tiny bit in the am, but I refused to let them move the wedding inside - good thing too cause it really was boiling - i had sweat running down my legs during the entire service.

Have you chatted to the midwife about your rib pain? All I can say its its not long now till Mat is with you and then no more body aches.

4:45am...rib pain now way to sore to continue sleeping!!
Karin - he isnt breech and hasnt been since 16 weeks!!!
But that darn pain started at 18 weeks (long before he was anywhere near my ribs) so I have no idea...it is so sore though. DH tried to massage it the other night and I felt like he was pressing on broken ribs.

Joli - I did know the prices beforehand for the photos. But I bought the newborn and maternity package so since it said minimum $150 for prints, I thought I could choose a combination from both shoots since it's a package? now she is saying its minimum $150 per shoot which I think is unfair.
she was by far one of the cheapest photographers I could find here though!

EmsMom enjoy the picnic!!! it sounds divine which wine farm did u get married on? we got married at Rhebokskloof in Paarl - man it was hot!! (44 degrees)

Schatsie - love the way you say you'll do stuff to please people then go home and do it your way just do it your way from the start. He is YOUR baby and you are the mommy!!

cant believe DH is going to Germany tomorrow....man this weekend is gonna suck!

Kimika, I just read your story and it sounds wonderful !! I wish that I have the same experience, since I realy don't want an induction.

AFM: I have weird tiny red spots on the top and left side of my tummy that itches a little and it is definitely not dry skin. I don't have stretchmarks on my tummy yet, maybe this is the start of it. L was really active this morning, I love it. Is it weird that I am not in a hurry for her to be born, I just love her in my tummy and I would love to keep her inside for a while still, probably because now she is just mine and I don't have to share.
