Hi ladies :)

Been another hectic day for me, only read all the posts now and I'm sorrry but I'm too tired to remember or try and comment on everything.
Just happy to see that everyone is doing so well, especially our new mommies! :) Kimika and Cath ;)
Still have stuff to sort for month end and Year end, so it's keeping me way too busy, but I need to get it done otherwise I'll be bugged mercilessly by work when I have my baby in my arms. Don't want that.
Anywho, going to read Kimika's birth story now.... :)
Have a lovely evening girls.

Cath - william is too cute for words! And you look great.
I also don't think its neccessary for top up feeds unless he is showing signs of being hungry after having breastfed. Collustrum is very filling for newborns. But I suppose I'm no expert though! ;)

Meags - all I dreamt about was your house last night. Because I had a look at your pics on fb before I fell asleep. I have been meaning to say thanks for the tips on when to go to hospital! Its put my mind at ease for now.
How are your aches and pains. I've also been getting those sharp shooting pains in my vj. My gyn wasn't concerned.

Kimika - I loved reading your birth story! Thanks for sharing. How is mommy-hood going?

Okay so I've missed out on a few pages, sorry!!
I do think jessica is next, then me. Yay only one week left. Next week this time I'll have my baby in my arms.

CONGRATULATIONS CATH!!!!!
So sorry I am so late. I am so pleased for William's safe arrival. I agree with the ladies, you are radiant :)

Faw - Hugs!

Kimika - Loving all your tips! I started the Sister Lillian birth rescue after Claire recommended it to me about a week ago. I will definitely increase dose as you suggested closer to the time. I am so happy that your dark haired prince is being such an angel.

Meags - Love all the pics, you have been very busy. It looks so awesome, I love the cheeky monkey in the nursery.

Claire - I did post re your gorgeous boy, wonder if it got lost as seems to happen often. Take care ..... saw your comment about NZ. When is DH off to zambia? Grrrrr!!

Jessica - ooooooo I wonder what this pm will bring? Another imminent arrival I hope, hee hee.

Schatsie - Do the mat shoot, you'll regret it if you don't.

Misty - whoop whoop for the names. I think they are lovely too.

Sorry for not doing more personals but inlaws are draining last of my energy. Thinking of you all lots, Take care

Cathm you sound like you are having SO much fun learning to be a new mommy and playing doll with your little angel! I'm SOOOO jealous and can't wait for my turn anymore! Oh no, a whole 9 more weeks to go!

How long do you have to stay in hospital? I thought it was 2 days after C sec, but someone else mentioned 3?

Kimika thanks for the LB tip - silly me would never have thought about that - I probably would've blamed the nappies. :)

Oh BTW, I forgot to say, I asked my dr about epidural vs spinal and he was very adamant that only spinals are done for planned C sec. So it seems the only time someone would have an epidural for a C sec, is if they started with natural birth and had to have an emergency C sec.

AFM, I'm feeling really tired and sore lately! It's really hard to walk and I park about a block away, so have quite a bit of walking twice a day. I have no idea how I'm going to keep this up for another 6 weeks - especially since baby still has to double in size! I asked my manager's PA if they can not perhaps arrange parking in the building for me, but no luck so far.

Oh and wanted to say, to mommies having boys.. a small tip ;) When putting on the nappy, make sure the little hosepipe is facing down :silly: I had two nights of changing wet clothes because the wee go out the top once the nappy gets full :) I keep forgetting to point the little mr down!

Ha ha, Kimika, that is the one bit of advice I always give new mommies of boys: "The rifle (geweer se loop) must point down".
