Meags, thanks for the update on Kaylae.. so sad for her, with losing her precious baby now also having to deal with family issues and being seperated from her partner. Ag man..

Lucy, it went well with the lactation consultant.. she says that my children have short chins and tongues hehe.. thats why when I hold them in the normal position in front they suck the nipples in a way that hurts them... So I must hold Reuben in the rugby ball position.. but I really hate that position!! So now I just try and make sure he has a perfect latch each time and its really going well.. still sore but not nearly as much as I thought it would be. She also said not to prep nipples too much, just a bit of sun, they need to be as tough like leather and not soft

Tazzy, the labor pains I felt this time was very low down, just above my pubic bone.. almost like mentrual cramps but coming and going. They gradually crept upward until the whole tummy is contracting With my first one I felt heavy mentrual like cramps and also had a lot of backpain.

Ok so I only got to page 263 Gotta run again.. boohoo when will I catch up ??

Just got a mail from Discovery saying there will be no payment to my gynae for the delivery??? R5300! I need to phone them asap.. hope its just a small error!

Hey Ladies inlaws arrive today so I may be a little scarce (although I do plan on "escaping") but I'll catch up whenever I can.

Emsmm - I haven't been given a definite date yet, he will do on the 11 march, which could be following week?!!!! Not much time to prepare, he he he

Meags - I have super pain in my belly about 10 days ago, for about a day and a half and at my next scan Tessa had moved position, so I think it could be that he is moving.

Shoo.. so frustrating that I dont get time to chat!!!! I now have 5 pages to catch up, still need to write my birthstory and I miss you guys!!

Reuben and I had our first mommy and me outing this morning, went to the baby-class at Kloof. Went very well and little guy slept all the way there and back Also weighed him at clinic and he is now 2.8kg so almost back to birthweight.

So let me try see how far I get with catching up..

Lucky you and hubby for winning those stunning prizes! Love the cane bed, it's too cute! Would have loved to have one of those for the first few months, but the big wooden cot will have to do. My other kids survived it, so hehe...

Your next appointment is booked on my D-day ...or should I say B-day Thats if this little miss stays in till then... so wishing actually that dr will give me/ us a week off... We will see.

Oops, forgot to add that I had my gynae appt this morning. He said everything is looking perfect. Baby weighs a whopping 1.9 kgs, instead of the 1.5 he should be by now. At this rate he will be larger than 3.8 kgs at birth. He has also turned head down now.

My next appointments have been booked as follows: 7 March, 22 March, 4 April, 11 April and 18 April.

Oh yes and more about Panorama, they showed us the different types of rooms – normal wards with 4 patients, private and luxury. In the luxury rooms they have a sleeper couch and dad is allowed to be there 24x7, i.e. sleep there and they serve hi meals there too. I told hubby I will happily pay the extra money for that to have him with me the whole time. I hate hospitals so would hate to be there alone and besides I want him to be (and he wants to be) 100% involved from day 1.
