Phew Newyum mum, 9 years is a long time to TTC!!! I tried for just over 2 years, not nearly as long as you, but is was incredibly stressful! I saw 4 different fertility drs, first tried fertility drugs, then went for 4 artificial inseminations and was about to start with In vitro when my husband decided that he no longer wanted to go through all the trauma and left me. Then I decided to get a sperm donor from a sperm bank and had to go through all kinds of psychological assessments and counseling, before doing 2 more AIs which also failed.

Then I decided to give up all hope since the Drs said it is very unlikely that I would ever fall pregnant after 6 failed AIs.

Then I met a new guy and fell pregnant naturally literally the very next month! It was the shock of my life, but I've never been happier!! Luckily my new BF, now husband, was very excited about the news and we are eagerly awaiting our little Angel in April.

Hi everyone

sorry I've been M.I.A the last few days - I'm just so bloody uncomfortable and getting crabbier by the day!! I tried on one of my maternity tops this morning and cried my bloody heart out when it wouldn't go OVER my gut!! (admittedly I felt completely ridiculous afterwards LOL)

I'm feeling HUGE and I've got 5 weeks to go.....can't imagine that i'm going to still expand a bit more! I look like a whale as it is! LOL

I saw the pictures of myself and eeeeeccccckkkkk I look like a bullfrog! HA HA HA

I need to seriously start looking out for a bigger car soon! Maybe a 2nd hand SUV - has anyone got any feedback regarding Mastercars? Are they trust worthy?

Here is a pic of me at 35 weeks....

Schatsie:We have something in common. How long did you try for? How did you fall pregnant?

Tried for 9 years and just could not conceive. Both me and my hubby are in our mid 30's and we seriously started to loose hope too. And babies where everywhere you looked. This

Newyum mum, you are SO right! We are raised to become mommies. That is exactly why when I was unable to conceive I felt so depressed - I felt like I wasn't a proper woman if I could not have children!
