Hi ladies,

Schatsie - Great idea! Thanx so much! I think I'll go and see if I can find a button top in the mens department, I can always combine it with black stretchy pants or something if I dont like the whole outfit.
Glad you had such a nice birthday with hubby and family. :)

Meags - hope you sorted something by now... hope you'll have good news soon. How is the pain? Any better?

Lucy - Just make sure you ask your dr to put your mind at ease or at least give you a fair warning if you are maybe not going to make it full term.

EmsMom - aawww... its so nice to get compliments about your kids! Enjoy and have fun teaching her to write. :)

Kimika - hope you are feeling better, hopefully it was just the pants that were uncomfortable. Shame, your hubby is just worried, I think they feel so helpless sometimes and scared to death to lose the one they love or the little angel growing.

Jessica - hope you enjoyed starting to pack your bag... ;) I started mine too but jeez its a bit difficult doing it all now, unless I go buy extras of everything like shampoo, roll-on, toothbrush, toothpaste etc.. all those goodies thats usually last minute add ins.

Kaylae - How are you feeling today??

Kimika and Emsmom - Thanks for your concern. I wasn't carrying that low and my tummy definately "dropped". I would estimate about 4 cm in one day. It was very weird and I was very aware of it. But I chatted to a colleague who was a midwife and she said I have definately "lighten" or somethiing like that but she said baby is not in pelvic area, so I am fine. Doesn't think I'll go to term though. I think she is still lying sideways too. So I guess she won't be coming as soon as people were making me believe!

Emsmom - Well done on the compliments and getting Aa under Ems belt!

Kimika - Oh dear about the tight pants, hope you fare better tonight.

Betty - Cute girly coloured wild animals :)

Schatsie - sounds like you had an awesome birthday! Thanks for the men's P.J tip. Good idea! That and my cherished belly are the main tasks left for me to do.

Meags - Hope the company has some answers for you by now. Would be nicce if you could move over the weekend.

Jessica - whoop whoop!

Rakker - My DH also made a cheeky comment!

Karin - Hope you enjoyed the mag!

Kaylae - if it persists for more than a couple of days I would definately go to the dr.

Ok lets see how far I get with catching up!!

Meags, how are things going tht side?? Been thinking of you a lot. How is the pain that you had?? Hope its better now.. Shoo, the company really need to get their act together! They cant just leave you stranded in a hotel with a empty house and no $$$$ to buy furniture... also they cant force you to buy other peoples 2nd hand stuff! Seriously!

Hlise, WElcome!!! I really hope you get to pop in more often, its so great to have friends to chat to and you will have lotsa fab friends here :) Ill add your due date on the list on page 1.

Newyum mum, welcome to you too!! Yippeee on having your baby soon :) Also added your due date to page 1.

Kaylae, happy birthday for yesterday!! Hope you have a blessed and fantastic year xxx Are you feeling better yet?

Lucy, wow :) great that you got spoilt rotten!! Shame man, dont let people upset you about your low belly!! Lotsa ladies carry very low and its in no way an indication of how long you will be able to keep baby inside :) I also carry very low and once baby engages it looks ridicilous .. hehe... I really hope you get some more sleep! Have you tried those tabs Emsmom suggested? Also you can try the Sister Lilian remedy Rescue Rest, safe for pregnancy too.

Betty, my baba will share a room with his brother so he shares his wild animal theme too :) But he will be sleeping with us for the first few months.. in fact.. both of them will prob be sleeping with us ;)

Schatsie, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Hope you had a fantastic day xxx

Anje, your so lucky to have such a great friend spoiling you! Dont stress about the bag too much, I think the rule says to have your bag ready at 34wks so that still gives you some time. Its really hard to get it packed so long in advance! I bought my pj's from Mr Price, they are cheap :) But they are still pretty. My MIL also bought me a set from Milady's. But like I said before, I dont like the button tops so mine is just plain t-shirt kinda tops.

Emsmom, ag man, you can really be so proud of your little girl! So cute to be so clever already!! Well done mommy!

Jessica, well done on getting the suitcase out of the cupboard! LOL

AFM: I had a horrible night last night.. I kept getting really bad pain in my lower right hand side of my belly and back and was sooo parenoid that I couldnt sleep :( I eventually took off my pj pants as I think the elastic was too tight  And then it got better.. So when I told hubby this morning that I was worried during the night about the pain he completely crapped on me for not taking everything slowly and that Ive been way to active.. aii.. I cant sit around all day, I just have too much to do! And Ive been feeling slightly offish, had lotsa BH today again so dont really know whats going on.. Im worried about getting UTI for some reason and only seeing gynae next week. Ill just maar see how I feel tomorrow.. dont want to say anything more to hubby.. he gets upset so easily if Im not 100% fit :) hehe..

Only 2 personals:

Meags, I hope things get sorted out soon. *Hugs*

Schatsie, happy B-day! I also find shopping too exhausting.

AFM: I bought 2 Playtex feeding bras at the factory shop in Honeydew. Not sure how well they will work, will have to wait and see. Cost R150 for 2. Not bad! I showed DH how it works, and his comment? "Kinky". Men :side: :silly: :P !

Schatsie- happy birthday, glad you had a wonderful day! Wishing many blessings for you in the year ahead.

Kaylee- I have also been suffering with a runny tummy- egged on from eating spicy food I think. Keep yourself hydrated. Really hope it sorts itself out.

Have also been suffering from fluntulance. Lol

Meags, hopefully the finance guy gives you the cash soon and you can get on with your shopping, must be great to have your mom helping. Your cats are arriving soon - were they in quarantine ?

Anjelica - what a wonderful gift. To get new floors, so lucky!

As for me, making dinner for me and M, DH not home today. Feel exhausted. Think I forgot to take my vitamin this morning, but I can't be sure. Wonder if there is any harm in taking 2 vitamins in one day?

Hi girls

Thanks for all the birthday wishes! I took the day off work and had a lovely relaxing day with DH. Went for a nice brunch and some shopping at Canal Walk.

I was exhausted from walking around there tho and DH had to fetch the car and get me at the Edgars side (clearly Emsmom's idea got stuck in my head. :)) I'm SO not doing shopping centres for the next few months!

Then I took a lovely long nap when we got home and now we're off to dinner with my parents and sisters.

KarinM and others hunting for dark pyjamas with front buttons, hubby gave me an idea: get men's PJs! They're all dark and has buttons. We went to Edgars today and saw some nice ones - they had navy and black and it came in satin and cotton. They don't look too "male" either - the one had a nice stripe and the other a nice neutral colour. Think I will get those.
