Hi girls, I feel so out of touch with you all, I am just soooo busy at work and just too tired in the evenings to catch up.

Kimika, congrats on you 35the week !!

Schatsie, happy birthday, may you be spoilt alot !!

Meags, not sure if you are in your new place yet, but hope you are. I agree with Lucy, go see the dr ASAP.

Sorry girls, I only read the last page.

HELP PLEASE !! My husband is starting to stres about the hospital bag and I haven't found pj's yet. Where did you buy pj's ?

AFM: Babyroom is painted and we had a very generous gift from a friend for baby, she gave us a cash for the laminated flooring, we had to add a little, but the flooring is done. Hubby is busy with the shelves and will start with the cot next week.

We will be visiting both our grannies for the last time over the weekend before L arrives, not feel up to the long drive, but I do want to visit them.

Enjoy your day ladies !!

Morning preggie fairies;

Meags-WHAT   that is too expensive.Guess it will give you more time to raise Matt but if you are used to working it can be stressful at times.Hope you'll adjust well.

Lucy-Does a lower tummy mean you'll pop soon? With my 1st baby, she turned at 8 months and engaged into the birth canal yet came at 41 weeks and this one too has dropped and I know she won't come earlier than 38 weeks.Sorry about the vomiting and emotional feeling,it gets the best of us.I was happy when my 1st trimester was over and now went back to dizziness, runny tummy, backache and sometimes vomitting :( .Great that you got all the nice goodies, babyshowers always helps :)

Betty-I think the sooner to do the nursery the better, don't forget that men are good at proscanating time.My LG's nursery is winnie the pooh and friends.

AFM-DH nearly spoiled my b.day yesterday, dropped off 2 pre-scholars that are hyper active and gave me a headache trying to tell them to stop every now and again but he made it up with a surprise cake and it meant alot to me :) .He granted me my wish,we slept in LG's room we put twin beds so we slept in different beds and it helped alot since I woke up feeling fresh unlike when we sleep in our room with our LG :) Bought my LG disney panties and Tshami winnie the pooh takkies now I cannot wait for her to arrive. They are soooo cute :)

Hi ladies, so much news to catch up on.

Misty - I am also giving birth at Milnerton. Thanks for the info on the mother care range at woolies. Went to look yesterday. They have some lovely stuff.

Schatsie- your pics are so clear, such a beautiful LO. I did a Teddy bear theme for Matthew, first born. I got his bed linen from a place in Durbanville called the Baby Room. They also made matching curtains for the room, with curtain tie backs and Teddy bear wall pictures. The shop was situated below baby city. Not sure if it is still there. I also got teddybear pictures from Mr Price.

Hlise - welcome and congrats.

Newyum - hello, we too are doing building work, although it has not started yet I am wondering if I am crazy having agreed to all this.

Kaylee- happy birthday, hope your day and year are full of special blessings.

Meags, hope you feel better soon. Not great being so run down and having to deal with everything on your plate. Hope you fing a great birthing centre today.

Lucy - I too am struggling with lack of sleep. Wow such wonderful gifts that you received, so lucky..

afm - I never realized that you have to pay tax on goods bought on line from overseas. Although come to think of it I have only ever ordered stuff from sa sites.M&S has lovely stuff.
Think that I may set up the nursery in our study while the new room is being built. DH thinks I should wait a few weeks till we can estimate how long the room will take. But I am starting to feel a bit anxious- not sure why, I still have 3 months.

What themes are you all doing for your nursery's? Will your LO's be sleeping in your rooms for the first while? I was thinking of getting an added attachment, carry cot to fit onto my pram and the LO can sleep in there for the first few weeks. So expensive though. I have a Loola Travel System from 2008. Or perhaps I should just get a little crib/ Moses basket?

Looking forward to my next scan, 2 Feb, starting to live from scan to scan now.

Mom to Matthew, born 8 March 2008
baby girl due 29 April 2011

Hello fairies I am missing you so much!!

I have done a quick speed read (nearly midnight) and I'll try remember some stuff!!

To the new mommies - A warm welcome and I look forward to getting to know you better.

Kaylae and Schatsie - Happy birthday for today and tomorrrow :)

Meags - Go to the dr/ ER and get that pain and cough sorted out, once and for all. Don't play with yoour health.

Schatsie - Lovely pics, sooooo clear. I agree and angel face!

Mistymom - Yip on the vomit partner ...... again. Grrrrr! Getting nauseous quite frequently and coming close tp up chucking quite often in a day!

Emsmom - I think it is so awesome that you are embracing a new birth style and running with it. Wish you best of luck and success at achieving your dream

Claire - Where you?

Kimika - I hope you get your head above water with month end soon.

Afm - Not in greatest space (again) last night got 3 hours sleep and 1 hour the night before, night before was up whole night sorting out flooding in house. I have been working ridiculous hours on conference too. Feeling super nauseous and emotional too (cried in front of all my colleagues - I mean seriously) and now putting that together with my dropped tummy I am super stressed that Tessa is going to make an early entry into the world. People are even telling me you are very low you'll never make full term.
I have to end with a silver lining ......... work thew me a baby shower and we got sooooooooooo spoilt even a bit of money too. As people are from around the country got stuff that is not in our local stores. My friend that lives in Jozi who has had her babies also came and dropped off all her "old" stuff for me ........ a peg pram in mint condition, bath, boucy chair, carrycot, breast feeding pillow, bottle warmer etc!

Love to all and sorrry for the selfish post

i will just feel so silly going to an ER for muscle pain though!!!!! and it's about R700 just for a doctor's appointment so ER will cost a fortune.

kaylae I did want to go back to work next year and put baby into a creche. but we recently found out that creche is $1000 per month (R7000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) so not really sure it's a choice as that's a lot of money!!!!!!!! And for 2-3 days per week, it's still R5600 per month). my visa also doesnt allow me to work so I would need to change it. I guess we will decide a bit later on.
perhaps I will try to volunteer work where I can take baby with? I really dont wanna just sit at home for 3 years though
