Lucy, glad to hear kitty is ok! And honestly if my dr told me to google it I would smack him! The internet has so much misleading info, its why we pay our Dr up to R1000 an appointment!

Karin, hope you have pics of the concert, its such a lovely feeling watching your little one on stage.

Rakker, so envious! I have always wanted a white Christmas!

Kimika, how you doing? Oh, btw my next scan is the 23rd - its the big anomoly scan.

AFM, been trying to keep off my feet as much as possible, today just seems so hot! Posted off our Christmas cards today, so at least that is done. We're going to PE this week-end for a wedding, so will be driving up Friday morning. Em's last day at playschool on thursday and we'll be at the end of year picnic that night, I'm so going to cry!

Ag Schatsie.. sorry to hear your news Must be hard to have those ups and downs! Being a parent can be really hard and stressfull if your baby's health and wellbeing is on the line. Is the dr sure of the hole in the heart? Ive also heard it sometimes closes by itself. Good luck with the amnio on Friday. Hopefully then you will have some definate answers. Ill be thinking of you and keeping you and your precious little baby in my prayers xxx

Yes Lucy my week is almost normal sofar.. ! Ive put in a lot of time yesterday and today to get the animals done. They are now all glued and the lion and monkey are almost finished. So atleast I feel like Ive done something!

Also Ive done my whole list of goodies that I still need for baby/ boys room. Now I just need to make a prezzie list for babyshower and list of who my mom needs to invite. And then check what is left on my own budget list.. oooo.. not my favorite part

KarinM, ahh Im also getting the elbows and knees sticking out now.. soo cute.. its like I can give him a bit of a tickle when he pops out his foot!

Oh girls, this rollercoaster ride that is my pregnancy has just taken another downwards curve!

My scan did not go well at all! Dr reported that baby has a hole in his heart (VSD = Ventricular Septal Defect). Although she said that it is fairly common (about 1 in 100 pregnancies) and that in most cases it closes by itself before birth or in the first 2 yrs of the baby's life, she also said that it is a high risk marker for Downs, so now I have to go for the amnio after all! I'm scheduled to go Fri morning.

I am so sad and devastated and now DH is working night shift too, so I can't even see him until tomorrow morning!

Why oh why is life so difficult?!

Faw - I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. I hope he makes a full and speedy recovery. I am sorry that your aunt is being mean, the situation is stressful enough without adding hurt and accusations to the mix. Glad your BP is OK.

Emsmom - Ohhhhh your night away sounds like heaven and your DH is a real sweetie. Glad the party was a hit too. Take care though you seem to be a very busy lady! Thanks for the boob feedback, it hasn't got more swollen or sore so I am sure there is no infection.

Meags - I have added the boob thing to my list of questions for the gynae, it is a long list! I think he may just think I am paranoid. As long as he doesn't do what he said the last time ......."google it!" I mean really! Sorry about the the noise and disturbances you've had. Have you heard anymore about selling your place? Your belly is gorgeous!!!!! So round and perfect, very very cool

Rakker - I am sooooooooo jealous! Have a fab time. There is so much heating overseas you'll be fine! Enjoy lucky thing.

Karin - I think children's concerts have got to be one of the cutest things on earth!! Any pics to share? Don't over do it and look after that bundle of joy in your tum.

Afm- My kitty seems fine. No abcesses have formed. He has been slower moving but he probably is a little bruised. But I have picked him up (lots) and had a good feel of everywhere and he doesn't moan ....... just purrs in fact so I think he will be OK, thank goodness.

hey ladies

not much to report. slept terribly last night, was just so sore from walking so much yesterday.
finally seeing the tax consultant tomorrow. seems I could get back quite a lot as I didnt know that I could claim back for my husbands company renting from me for the last 3 years!! yippee!!

I'm flippin hungry and very lazy so sorry for no personals - hope you're all fine!
