Meags, clearly she wasn't thinking about what and how she was saying it. Maybe she meant well, but not sure how to communicate with you.

AFM: I had a horrible dream last night, baba was born, I was on maternity leave and baby was just crying without stopping and I just couldn't settle her. Hubby wasn't home and MIL came to visit, but instead of helping, she phoned the welfare, who wanted to take the baby away and my entire family was angry at me. So this morning I told about the dream and his response: Easy solution....when I am not home, do not open the door for my mom.......hehe, we had a good chuckle, but at least his mom won't do that.

Shame Meags.... your stepmom really do sound like the "evil" stepmoms do! ... gosh... how cold of her to say something like that, obviously rubbing it in that she doesn't give a hoot.

I saw the post - will chat to dh - really think it will be fine though. do not feel bad about the goodbye thing - i had to rush off home coz of puppy :)
