I also get those palpitations, is very strange, and often my right foot goes numb, but I think blood flow has somewhat changed so I'm not stressing too much about it.

Karin, ask your Dr at your next visit just to be sure. But they do check your sugar levels each time right?

Misty, thanks for the tip with cherrymellon, I've finally admitted I need maternity pants so will go their this week-end.

Today I'm feeling very yucky, I'm emotional, my head is sore, my tummy is still gone so I dont even feel pretty and pregnant, just fat. I hate feeling like this cause I'm normally such a happy person. Thinking of putting on a Christmas movie to cheer me up a bit.

I also get the heart palpitations... they are awefull. But Im also having some weird "tired" moments.... it scares me. I feel almost faint and my legs like rubber, and then it goes away again. It happens when I get up to do something, maybe I get up too quick, don't know.
What is symptoms of pregnancy diabetes??? Anyone know?
I'll google it a bit later as well.

Kiana is getting really busy now. My stomach has started jumping now from all the movement, so she is getting strong. I truly LOVE it.

Meags - I wanted to ask, did you mention your Braxton Hicks to your gynae?
I did at my appointment and he said its normal, and that taking Magnesium should ease them a bit.

Kimika - I also get those heart things but I can sometimes feel my pulse in my stomach too. Weird. I thought it was cos I was sick, but it is also worse when I am emotional or bending over etc

Misty - Wish there was one in Durbs

Tazzy - I think that will make a lovely nursery.

Sorry no time for personals! The freaking maid did not come today, so got a bit of housework to get through!

Just wanted to say scan went fine...baby put on a kicking storm!
All fine and doc really happy. I am going to a lady for my a big 22 week scan - A dr Steyn he recomended to do a full details of every inch! SO looking forward to that. He also gave me a whole bunch of free vitamins. Asked him when he induces if past DD and he said 1 week so that is good Due 22nd April and mt sister flys out 2 May so she will not miss out! Also checked and he is not going away for easter weekend (Due date is good friday). Got a few pics so will post tomorrow once DH has scaned at work!

Great having sis here! We are going to get hair done together tomorrow! Cant wait..have not touched it since falling preganat!

Oh yes and all CT ladies - cherrymelon in canal walk ahve a 50% off sale! Got nice maternity jeans for R245 (yay at alst cos all ones I have looked at are awful) and also a pair linen pants R245 (both were R499 origionally).

Cath, ahh thanks for the info!! shooo! I was a little worried about that.. def did not have it with my first pregnancy.. And I must say the first time I got it was when I was having a hormonal upset day so I thought I was having a panic attack (very unlikely for me to get so upset). Im seeing gynae in just over a week so will ask her about it then anyway.

Tazzy, ahh the bedding is really cute!! And it works out to be very affordable! Yip, the ugly pointy belly button.. no wonder my son thinks its a piepie! And my little niece says its the baby's nose!
