Kimika-sorry about the the bottle it once happened to me and I was very frustrated as mine I got for free buying their sterelizor.With my LG I used Avent and now I am thinking Tommee Tippee please advise if it is BPA free.

Jessica-My lil bean has been very quiet also and I thought what's up and sometimes feel I am not preggies glad the bump is reminding me.

Well its Monday again Here we go again..

MommyN = Hi! When my son just started eating I was cooking all his meals myself and when I did the apple I used to put the cooked mashed apple in purity bottles and seal them. So clever me wanted to sterilise the jars and *forgot* the tops were metal and it also melted my steriliser!

So now Im thinking maybe its a good thing and that Ill start cutting my sons 11 naptime bottle, so Ill just need one for nighttime bottle.. And then Ill wait for Dec for the BPA range..

Emsmom, hehe.. I was upset for about 5mins and then hubby had such a laugh at me that I had to smile about it

I am from the Jan/Feb thread - originally thought I would be on this thread... then discovered I was a lot further than I thought... long story.

But I have met a few of you, so thought I would just pop in and say HAVE A GREAT WEEK everyone!

Meags - I really hope you hear from him and that there is one very good explaination for this!!!! It is very unfair to do this to you! Hugs!!!

Kimika - aaah, the bottle story - my friend put the bottle brush in the steriliser and that melted all over everything and the container also melted!

To be honest, I like the Pigeon bottles, and with the BPA thing was worried, but the manager from Baby City spoke to their rep for me and assured me that their bottles are very high quality and the good plastic is used. And you have to wash the bottle something like 25,000 times at I can't remember what temperature before it even makes a difference!

I am looking forward to the new BPA-free range in December (I believe its coming in Dec). Currently I only have 5 bottles for Missy, but I also BF until 11 months.

I dont know about PTA Zoo, but our tygerburg Zoo in CT has also gone to the dogs, I used to love going there as a child, but now its sad and depressing...

Lucy, the pink elephant wallpaper sounds soooo cute!! And also you will see you actually find lots of more girly animals around.. Thanks for the tips on the bottles at Dischem.. you wont believe what I did on Sat morning I was in such a rush to get everything done that I forgot to put water in the steamer after washing the bottles. And then after the microwave time was up I did smell a funny kinda something and when I took out the steamer it was melted to the microwave plate! All my pigeon bottles had melted!!! Booohooo!! I only have 1 left and there was no time to go buy new ones. So now I have to go buy a pack tomorrow.. such a waste since I wanted to buy the wide-neck ones for the new baby but will now need them for my son.. but only have the normal neck size teats (they didnt melt) .. it sucks

Good thing to remember the BPA thing Meags.. thats why I was also considering changing bottles but really love the NUK but my son didnt take to them at all so not going to try again.. I did see a BPA free Pigeon somewhere but not sure if there is a whole range yet. The pigeon breastpump and breastmilk storage bottles are BPa free.

As for the amount of bottles. Ive always just had 5 but then I did breastfeed up to 8months with only 1 feed per day of formula. Since then I find 5 to be enough since only 4 bottles fit into my steriliser anyway so I was as soon as I have 4 dirty ones.

Meags, awww girl I totally feel your pain.. Have you been able to speak to him yet?? Shit man he should know you would be upset! I really hope he contacts you and has a very good explanation. Take atleast 10drops rescue drops and then a few more if you wake up or cant sleep. If I was around earlier I would keep you company but your prob asleep already.. or crying your eyes out HUGS friend.. sms me in the morning if you want to chat..

Hi ladies

It's 9:45pm and I still havent heard from DH. He doesnt answer his cell phone. I called the hotel and he isnt answering the phone in the room either so I guess he isnt there. So where the hell did he sleep last night?

I cried hysterically driving home from dinner. I am so disappointed and upset with him. He knows me very well and knows I am probably hysterical by now since we were suppose to talk 6 hours ago. Yet he's made no effort to contact me at all.

I am so upset I cant help but let my mind wonder all the possibilities of why he hasnt contacted me and the biggest one is he's cheated on me and doesnt know how to tell me.

I am having some cramps too and my uterus is contracting need to try stop stressing but I dont know how.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.....

LO has been very quiet the last few days - trying not to worry about it (cause I'll drive myself nuts) but I've been VERY busy the last few days getting Bryce's room almost finished for his 2nd birthday today, doing party-packs for school, etc etc, and we spent the day at the Pretoria zoo.

Is it just me or is the PTA zoo really going to the dogs, wow its really looking forlorn & sad. The enclosures are in bad shape, gardens are in need of attention. Ai its just terrible!!!
