Ladies, I have put together a "list" so that I know what to buy and to make sure that I have enough. can you have a quick eye at it and let me know if I have missed anything? I Probably have covered everything, but just want to make sure.(I just hope it shows)

any way, AFM - I'm doing well, Home life is better than what it has been. Df has finally had a proper effort to Stop smoking, he is on 2 a day already. and he went for an interview today, and will probably be going for a few more as he sent his CV out to quite a lot of places.
(Thank the Lord for the light at the end of the tunnel is not a train's head light anymore...)

Baby is doing fine, I would hope, at week 14 now and just 15 more days till the next scan. AND YeS I have decided to try and have the gender seen at 16 weeks, not 20 weeks anymore....lol

I was rooting for the Blue team, but all of a sudden I really would not mind to have a girl. then again a few weeks ago I wanted a boy...lol I guess I will just have to be happy with either of the two.

hmmmm not so short post after all....hahahahahaaa

Sorry been away, stayed at the inlaws last night and they dont have internet, was also driving around yesterday with donor etc.

Meags, I'm assuming your mom has now arrived so you'll be away for a bit. Hope you have a fun time with her! I'm also glad you are ganing well, thought perhaps I was the only mommy on here picking up weight! (although now I refuse to step on a scale unless at the Dr. I had picked up 2kg at my last appointment)

Lucy, glad the fever has gone and you got out and did some shopping! I hope you are still taking it easy though.

AFM, I'm just really tired today, have had my energy tea, but still nothing. I'm trying to get up and do something active every 30min or so to try and get my blood flowing, but all I want to do is sleep The maid is here so I cant go sleep now, and in 30min need to go and fetch Em. Maybe I can get her to have an afternoon nap with me.

AFM - Looking forward to my scan on Thursday. A bit scared of the Downs screening, though, as my age counts against me. Just praying all will be well.

I'll went yesterday for my scan. Wow that was so nice to see baby again. Dr do the downs tests, so hopefully everything is fine.

Baby is now 7 cm long and the heartbeat is 160. Hopefully on my next scan on 17 Nov we can see the sex. I'm on my second trimester now. Jippie!

I'll hear that we can do a test from 8 weeks and then that test can give you the sex. They call it something like pink or blue. Dit someone do this? And how accurate is it?
